My PC is from 2010, back before the national economy was ruined over here, so its not exactly a source of inspiration... Given current PCs, i don't think you can go wrong with anything you buy no matter how hard you try, at least for common tasks. Computer gaming obviously has higher demands, but the usual internet and home office should be able to be done with anything new you are able to handle these days. Want it portable? want a desktop? those things you have to think about. Touchscreen or not, etc. If you are into games get something with a good nvidia, 1060 or better. RAM as much as you can afford, 16g seems the bare min these days. A small but fast SSD for your OS, and a large but slower HDD for your bulk data. Windows can make any machine slow down into a crawl, so i wouldn't recommend that, but to each their own. Linux (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux) is my choice, and there are various companies selling PCs with Linux pre-installed (https://www.cyberciti.biz/hardware/laptop-computers-with-linux-installed-or-preloaded/). Hi, In my opinion, Bitdefender is better than Kaspersky. According to recent lab tests, the system performance and malware protection of BD is a bit better than Kaspersky.
