They offer Margin Trading. This is basically lending funds, for the sole purpose of going short. Another way would be asking for a loan inside this forum. One would be required to voice some reasoning and offer collateral. But! And it will kick one's butt, because illiquid markets can wildly swing into any direction, changing directions even twice a day. This likely places the whole master plan into grave dangers. Partial reserves alike, what we always wanted to avoid. What happens if they dump all margined coins on another exchange, driving prices down over there? Their own customers would be happy, rebuying cheaper. That's the first time I discovered that possibility. Not only exchanges can trade on their own site against their own customers, like brokers are frontrunning their own customers, but they could do it arbitrage styled. How to detect that? And if some site got caught in the act, how to do it any justice? On the long we need the exchange without exchange sites. Decentralized exchanges. |
