The 8GB is running at 2000 mem clocks. For some altcoins, Ethereum for example, that results in a 10-15% increase in performance and greater power efficiency. Since the price difference is small, the Sapphire RX 480 8GB looks like a good buy. Also Sapphire is the best when it comes to RMA warranty claims. I personally only buy the cheapest RX 470 4GB cards as I find them to be the best value for money. If you can get them for under $230, then those would be the best option. Yeah he is in a country that getting a bargain priced card is hard to do. If he was USA this card is a good choice http://www.diamondmultimediastore.com/radeon-rx400-series $199.99 free shipping to all states. Where he is I would get the 8gb sapphire card.
