ok, when the shills start posting here and in the DASH thread (wow look at that all these users come from NOWHERE when dash is flying, but were nowhere when dash was quiet) then you know it's time to sell before dump.

Then buy again at 150$ hours later.

It looks more that ETH, XMR and BTC shills trying to attack and ruin every Dash lovers threads...

You see, the problem is that many people that are interested in cryptocurrencies don't actually know which one of the +750 coins would be the coins that are legit and which got a potential to rise. I saw Dash in last December when I put some money in Bitcoin, but I did not and still don't trust Altcoins more than I trust BTC so I preferred not to make the investment. Out of the many hundreds of coins out there, who knows which one will be the best? Investing in them means risking, and not all of us can afford the risk so many times.

I somehow feel nostalgic at the moment because I remember reading these kinds of threads about Bitcoin, but I was reading them in 2013 when it was already too late. Now I see similar threads but about Dash, which makes me wonder whether the same thing will happen to it or not :D I wonder what would happen to Bitcoin if Dash gets past its price.

I do like those so I will put my bets on ETH DASH and XMR.
Why not put them along with BTC for a good mash up?

Unlikely, if the price of Dark coin rises towards 1 btc, there might be hackers, Chinese miners may not want Dark coin to overtake their business.

Hmm, hackers could scare away both Bitcoin and Altcoin investors, so I don't know how good such an idea would be. As you have probably seen in the past, for example last year with the Bitfinex hack, many people are getting scared away because this is what happens. You wouldn't trust it anymore either for a moment and you will have to decide whether it's better to hold or quickly sell. And with the Dash rising up against Bitcoin, there will probably also be a big community rising with it. It would be interesting and scary at the same time to see a "war" between the Bitcoin and Dash on the markets...

If Dark coin is hacked or attacked some other way by exploiting a vulnerability it will only have positive affect  both to bitcoin and its hedge Monero.

Interesting, I didn't think about exploiting vulnerabilities and I didn't even know this coin had the name "Darkcoin" before Dash. But are you sure that a coin reaching a price similar to Bitcoin being taken down wouldn't result in something really bad for both of them and possibly even other cryptocurrencies too..?

No one is going to be reading posts about Bitcoin from 10 years ago, because Bitcoin didn't exist 10 years ago, which you would know if you knew enough about Bitcoin to justify running off at the first opportunity.

The only videos or information I've seen about Dash are the most vague things I've ever seen, with vague claims to have extremely low or no fees, to have completely instantaneous transactions and offer no genuinely detailed reasons why they are superior to Bitcoin.

Sure, Dash will be better now because it is less popular.  But if Dash was genuinely a competitor Bitcoin would get going a lot quicker on blocksize issues - these are things which just can be solved but instead of trying to contribute or even wait for these things to happen some people are so desperate and weak that they just run to Dash, which by the way is not even close to Ethereum's market cap as Ethereum has far more in circulation.

This is a bubble.  In a few weeks, Dash will crash and burn.

So make the money now until this happens is what your saying. :)

I hope DASH has DDOS protection to the scale of DynDNS or some huge backbone provider like that,
because their servers would be flooded with so much traffic they would be offline within minutes.

I think if you want DASH incraese to 1000 dollar
the first must much exchanger support pair use DASH fiat money, if not much exchanger support dash fiat money, if incraese over 1000 dollar
is posible DASH can die or down price again

1000$ is a little to high for DASH , But I think maybe for Eth which has some value and works .

Eth works. Sure but what about Eth's first DAPP? I recall a buggy crappy app called the DAO causing the whole block chain to fork also meaning the blockchain can no longer said to be immutable. But apart from that it just works. Btw Dash already is a DAO

also i should add that as far as i can tell the ethereum fork was just a rollback not much of a bug fix and that means this incident can be repeated if another good hacker comes along to exploit the ethereum platform and then we will see another fork and another fork and so on while price drops and no amount of whale wall can prevent that.

Now that Dash $1000 is done, we can look towards Dash $10000 by end of 2018!

I think it could however not be quick and easy. dash itself needs to be a process to be able to rise to a higher price than at the moment.
