This simple math calc shows just how fucked preorder customers for BFL are. And to top it all of, the minirig will NOT be as it initially was advertised. It will likely be a mess of wires of much smaller devices or one GARGANTUAN rig lol.

AFAIK they have priced their products in USD, thus the current value of BTC is really irrelevant.

Dont you think that the coins/money they got from preorder got used up ordering/building the "parts" required to build these rigs ?

Saying this implies that preorderers knew that bitcoin would be worth $244 only 7 months after buying the rig. Sure it would be a better idea in retrospect but nobody has perfect information. If everyone had perfect information all the time, then yes, no matter how you cut it, all BFL preorders would be a bad idea.

This BFL shit is becoming worse than the Rebublican-Democrat division. Everyone wants the same thing (MOAR GOVERNMENT!) with very slight differences and they hate each other for the slight differences.

Stop trying to make people regret using their currency as currency. Spending bitcoin is the only way to ensure its long term success.
