Title: Building a few rigs and need advice on all this custom GPU bios stuff Post by: coinbeast on March 16, 2017, 11:17:40 AM I am building 3 rigs soon and it's only a matter of time before I want to tweak them to get the best hash rate that I can. I have never built a GPU rig before and all this custom bios stuff is a bit daunting to me.
What is the purpose of a custom bios? What can you do with a custom bios that you can't do in an overclocking tool? How will this affect my cards when it comes time to re sell them? How do I find out which type of memory my cards have? smOS allows settings similar to msi afterburner that will save you money. you are new get used to mining first. If you expand try using the same exact card and purchasing a bios from Eliovp every card needs a different bios. I don't both with custom bios I use smOS here are my settings for first card.
