Title: Was a timejacking attack ever performed?
Post by: Avgustin Aldridge on April 22, 2013, 08:38:03 AM
The timejacking attack appears to be a pretty straightforward attack to pull off successfully. I was wondering, whether it was ever performed and documented somewhere, or was it just theoretically described?

It's only a way to mine more blocks on feeble and poorly designed altcoins without increasing the difficulty:

Well it is a form of 51% attack. Yes, it is straightforward, it just take enough computing power to have at least 51% of the total and thus overtake the network. Good luck.
