That almost came as a surprise. They were on Poloniex with very high selling prices, but they've all been sold this week.
I wasn't expecting that. BTC is way over $1,000 and nearly all altcoins are up. I wonder who's buying at those prices, but I thank them.

No, he's fucking smart for doing so.  You think these prices are going to hold forever?  They're not.   Buy low, SELL HIGH.  And he's doing the latter, if he's not just trolling.

Yes recently the alt coin price is pumped up, I also sell almost all of alt coin, because I am sure alt coin price is not going to hold for a long time, better go to trade it before the price fall down, and after this incident I can see some good prospect in trading alt coin

This is actually good when the long term holders dump their coins is a guarantee of well distributed wealth between masses, if you don't believe in something then better not to put your money right? let them the believers to earn the profit they really deserve.

Now u have learnt a lesson. i was not sure of the SEC approval and the altcoin were dumping then, couldnt afford selling the profitable coin at low cost but buy more. Now coinmarketcap is looking beautiful daily. the pump will be in the next few months, If u can still afford some lucrative coin buy them

DASH was smart to change its name when it was still early but they still made one fatal error. They let those darkcoins to be converted into DSH. Now darkcoin name is forever stuck on them. In other words; its a Premined/Instamined scamcoin.

The prices gonna shoot up more and more in the future for sure. In fact, the altcoins are getting that rate because of Bitcoin price. So hope it will stay at top as long as we trade the altcoins.  ;D

Absolutely, everyone is selling altcoin on this price. Then the price will surely dumped again. Most traders now are not holding altcoins for a long term because of of bitcoin price is rising.

I think you are a bit early with selling your altcoins to be honest.

There are a few that you are probably spot on if you had them (Dash, Ether, XMR come to mind), but some others still have some catching up to do.

The altcoin market has more potential now with bitcoin having nearly double the market cap as in 2013 and big alts paving the way.

Good decision.  Most of the major altcoins are at about the highest peak they're going to reach for a long time.  Everyone keeps considering that ETH or Dash or Montero or anything might be the future but to me it seems like a combination of FUD about Bitcoin, FOMO from less experienced investors and huge pumps (especially on Dash).

Altcoin users buy small amount of several different altcoins, and that's why altcoins will never overtake Bitcoin and will never stay up forever.

i think you are too soon to sell all of your altcoins because if we see the price now, almost altcoins is going to increase and i think almost altcoin is trying to reach new floor like what bitcoin do. and this is our opportunity to make big profit since trading in altcoin is really worth and we really can make big money. but i hope that you are not regret with your decision and you can still buy any of altcoins that you want and you can continue doing trading.

No, OP is a noob and sold all of his altcoins. Just think about those noobs selling all of their bitcoins in 2010 just so that they can make 2x returns. Keep some coins. Do not lose your position!!!

if you sold but in the future you are planning to buy again to have more bitcoin, that is the normal here, everyone just want more bitcoin, i don't hold altcoin for a  long time as it is very risky for me, and i sell as soon as i have a good profit in front of me, still there are suckers out there that keep buying for unknown reason and make us rich lol, prolly those are sons of rich people

I think it is a big mistake to do such stuff now. If we are talking about poor quality coins then yes, it's good to sell them. But if we are talking about ethereum, byteball or even litecoin - I believe such ones are going to survive and will stay on the stage, so to say. I keep my eth and wait till it gets to the price a lot higher than 40-50 dollars.
I know Ethereum is supported by some big companies and perhaps that's why the price is growing but I think it will be stong anyway.

I sold off most everything to. TA failed me this time. This rally is defying any previous trend (reasons which can be debated elsewhere). At least we sold before what may be the biggest altcoin bloodbath crash in history. Time will tell.  :)
