-It has to have a unique innovation or feature of some sort.

-A good community is a plus but not required.

We are going to have built in advertising for the MJ marketplace  because MJ companies and services can't use google ads. We want to solve that. Thus giving value. ;D

If I could recommmend you something, this is to not invest in an altcoin because of the potentially unique features that bring absolutely no market value, and maybe even do the inverse thing. Geeky toys are not a good investment.

and ardor is good coin, good dev, same with NXT dev team

Being listed on Poloniex means that you are eligible for pump and dump program. Having the same developpers as the NXT ones that blantantly failed is not a good argument too I think.

OP, in this times of trouble, I recommend you to do not buy any altcoin.

My advice is don't.

The problem with investing in altcoin is that most of them will carry an initial hype, with the ico and all the advertising going on with their professional dev team. But then afterwards as new altcoin come out the old ones slowly fades into the background.

Which makes altcoin not a very good long term investment in my opinion.

Right now the closest competitor would be ether. You could hedge yourself against the hard fork by buying into eth, but that's just what other people is saying, no concrete proof it's gonna work.

Bitbay for sure! Hugely undervalued! Has features shadowcash & syscoin would dream to have! It's the worlds only true decentralised market as it uses double deposit escrow so no middleman is used. No other 'decentralised market' can offer this. Yet Bitbay is 6 times cheaper due to its marketing budget being stolen but the founder of QTUM when it was created. Eventually it will be a top 15 coin for sure as the cream always rises and they have actual product rather than make believe vapourware

NEM is best choice for me. Project with huge potential. I know nobody who really got into it, read all the information and says it won't grow.

Ethereum is still new altcoin and it has unique innovations too, many projects be builded on ethereum network

That was interesting to me to read advices of other people. I have invested in LTC, LSK and DOGE, but they almost don't growing. I am looking for some new currency that shows big perspectives to be invested. It was great to hear so many opinions, so probably my next trying will be Bitbay.

I bought 10 BTC of Ardor, after looking over the technology and seeing that it has a good community I feel that it is definitely underpriced in this current market.  I expect 50,000,000 marketcap at least.

Still open to other suggestions though, keep them coming!

NEM is a good project, I used to own a few stakes.  However it seems the ship has sailed and is overpriced.  NXT 8,000,000 and NEM 140,000,000?  I would much rather buy NXT

BitSend and Pivx seems to be on the right track. Volume is increasing by 10x+. Will be within the top 30 by next month at this rate.

Looks very promising. Ardor is still under the radar. I predict a very profitable grown in the next 6-12months.

I'm currently investing in an ICO called "Red Lanterns" https://[Suspicious link removed]/RddguE. The idea is mindblowing: theu combine blockchain system with sexual education. Can you imagine that? Seems like this ICO has a big potential.
