I made a Litecoin withdrawal to an online merchant. The merchant uses a timer- if the currency is not sent within the alotted time, the transaction is cancelled. Dumb of me, but I sent the coins directly from exchange to merchant. Unfortunately, the withdrawal did not go through automatically, probably because I'm on vacation so this took place from a new IP. I sent a support ticket to hopefully speed up the process. Asked a mod if it's possible to cancel a withdrawal awaiting approval, and it's not (coolio).

Poloniex promises that withdrawals will be manually approved within 24 hours, but I have far less than that time so I'm fairly anxious.

i think the withdrawal at poloniex is normal now,,
i hope your coin is back to your account,, if the merchant cancelled the deal

I hope it won't take more than 24 hours, sometimes they manually verify each and every transaction because whether the withdrawal has been made you or the different person. But definitely, they will process the withdrawal without any delays once they manually verify everything.

i think its depend on how busy the network to process the withdrawals because sometimes when i made withdrawals, i don't waited too long and its completed in just 10 minutes, but the other time, its need almost 2 hours. beside that, we need to think about how much poloniex process for many withdrawals in the same day with us.

I had been experienced just like this before that my withdrawal still on process over than 24 hours and usually this is happening because your poloniex account wasn't use for trading that's why they will investigate your account but nothing to worry if their contact support already respond your problem usually your withdrawal will approve soon

got same problem awaiting approval more than 50 hours open a ticket 40 hours not any answer! last time i will use poloniex

Out of curiosity, what coin are you trying to withdraw?  I had this happen once when I made a withdraw of a large amount of DASH (like 50 or so).  There was no explanation for why it was held up and after about 12 hours it went through.  That was maybe a month ago for me.  Today and yesterday I was able to withdraw DASH (close to 2k USD both times) very quickly.

I am not going to use the "I" word but I have to say the resemblance to cryptsy's last days is disturbing and only growing more so.

For almost 3-4 days Poloniex have problem with withdrawal process, email verification for withdrawal take to long enter in my email, but today I make Bitcoin withdrawal and all going fast, but my deposit take to long because of this https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions 100k unconfirmed transaction.

Poloniex has in their terms and conditions that withdrawal is within twenty four hours. When I make my last withdrawal last time it take less than 10 minutes and my wallet was credited. My advise to you is to be patient for the 24 hours to elapsed and if you did not receive your payment then know that something went wrong.

I just withdraw in poloniex and its already 24hourrs and still waiting for approval im starting to think that this is a scam i hope it arrive fast because its already 48hours i dont expect that it will take that long 🙏🙏 other saying that with there withdrawal it just take less than 10minutes so i started to panic.

I'm waiting about 65 hours for 1btc withdrawal. Never again will use them. They don't respond.

It shouldn't take long at all. Tip: don't use a vpn to access poloniex, because their algos flag it. And send in small amounts, that are under your limit.

Same issue here.Waiting for over 72 hours but still no respond.I will never trade at Poloniex again.Nearly 1 BTC is still there without any feedback.Very bad services for Poloniex

How long have you been a member of Poloniex? Some of the folks on Reddit were suggesting that it was only new accounts that were having problems:

I've just successfully withdrawn some bitcoin today - it went through smoothly, as normal.

However, I've had an account with Polo since 2014, and don't use VPN's and tend to withdraw to the same address each time. This might be why their algo is automatically approving all my withdrawals.

For the new member of Polo: you need to establish a track record before they automatically approve all your withdrawals. Also, don't use VPN's.

I can't withdraw since May 3rd. I opened several tickets and I got no response from support. My withdrawals are still "awaiting approval". This is like Cryptsy before admitting they were bankrupt.

last time i withdraw from polo also have same problem with you, maybe you did not give them your id yet..

you need to do some verification before you can withdraw your btc

Almost 2 week didn't make withdrawal on Poloniex today I make withdrawal and said waiting approval, and I try to submit support ticket and say Your withdrawal will be approved within 24h  >:(

I have been waiting for 24h+ now, while they do say it will be less than 24Hrs.

I allready opened 2 support tickets, none answered.

My withdraw took 13 days to approve.  No response from support until it was approved.  Subsequent withdraws were approved right away.

Some people get their transactions approved almost immediately and others have to wait days, even though transactions were made around the same time. It's wierd that things like this happen imo.

DON'T USE POLONIEX!!!

I have been waiting for 80 hours for a withdrawal.
No communication, no message no nothing.

I think this is a bad bad sign.

The story is they are too busy...   But they don't allow you to cancel the unexecuted withdrawal.  
So they stick you in a position. You can lose a lot of money.
It is totally dodgy, bad way of handling the situation.

It smells.

For those who don't remember, when an exchange's behavior starts to smell, don't use it.
Just think Gox.

I will never use Poloniex again.  Even if their price has 1% differential. This just stinks.

well it's possible that you are screwed, but hopefully the merchant still has your address.

So far I have been waiting a day and a half with no response other than auto generated responses.  My coin is sitting in the withdrawal- I had grabbed some SC and DGB to trade off at bittrex and get some mid term growth coin after a quick profit.  Well the profit window slammed shut and then the value began  dropping and dropping.  I've been doing all  I can to get an actual person but it's worse than the cable company. 
In value I am down .059 btc or in todays market about $175, that does not cover the lost time investing and that's considerable.  Im losing purchasing power by the minute as the coin I am waiting to buy are creeping up.  No one answers at polo.  I will never go near polo again as long as I am trading.  I started a portfolio today on cryptocompare showing what I could invest in with whats left now vs what my funds are worth while waiting.  I'll be making those public so feel free to come have a look @ bctrader on cryptocompare.  The portfolios will be removed once my fiunds are safely returned

Have you guys tried making another withdrawal while your other withdrawal is still stuck at "awaiting withdrawal"?

Support ticket opened, but no response.

Today I tried some other withdrawals (small amounts first, then "bigger" ones), all completed quickly with email confirmation, no 2FA enabled yet.

Cleared my whole balances on that account.

Did a BTC withdrawal 6/6/2017. After nothing changed in the Awaiting for Approval status, I opened a ticket in 24 hours after confirming the withdraw in my email.
Still haven't got any response.
I even did a another smaller withdraw 2 days after that, and it went through normally.
I can't recommend using this exchange if you want to have no risks.

there support responding is very slow I've also requested for 2 level verification and after a week I've submitted a support ticket but still, no answer.im also wondering why they disable chat box, did they got hacked or converting into latest spam,

ETH withdrawal on "Awaiting Approval" since June.
Ticket in "process" since 1st of July, no respond.
Created one more ticket today.

Never had such a problem with them before.

Same her. More than 7 days with a withdrawal "Awaiting Approval". Raised multiple tickets but no reply.
Did any of you guys got this issue fixed? Is there any other method to contact them except the unresponsive ticketing system?

I have the same issue, waited now over 3 days.

The Poloniex customer support-system is completely broken, including "approval within 24 hours" for withdrawals.
Their long waiting periods for "flagged" withdrawals are way too long, and the customer-service needs to speed up their response time!

A lot have been having the same problems with Poloniex, it's either the blockchain is too congested that it is causing traffic or there really is something wrong with withdrawing coins from Poloniex. Just keep on sending tickets until they'll hear you out because I made a withdrawal too and it is showing the same thing until now. Don't know for how long their "Awaiting Approval" will be.

It would be nice if people could give us some success stories, like how long it took total, and that they received their funds??? I'm also waiting withdrawal 5.5 days.  I'm a long time user (years) and did not have 2fa plus, it'd been  a while and my computer had broken down since the last time I used them.  I had to reset my password.  BUT I got no warning and didn't know they were having trouble or I would not have used them! 

Anyway, if people could post " I got mine after 8 days" "I got mine after 10 days"  It would give us an idea as to how long our wait will be :)  and may go a ways in making us feel less horrible (well, it would me)

Ok so far I have been waiting for 16 hours after using the confirmation email. Withdrawal is waiting for approval. 0.6 btc. the sum is small and there is no red flag or anything wrong it seems. It has happened before.  I use mainly Bittrex, cryptopia and bitstamp for this reason. I would like to trade more on Poloniex but my own experience and the comments from other users prevent me from doing so. Of course I would be happy if they can manage to do it in 24 hours but if one does need the funds quickly somewhere else than poloniex wouldn't be my first choice. Apart of that I have never had a problem with Poloniex  and will keep using them when I am not in a great hurry for withdrawals.

so in total 19 hours and it has been sent. Not ideal but most importantly they do send the funds. And I didn't send an email and raised the issue. I think they have been overwhelmed themselves with how quick they have grown. I think they will catch up soon and they will get even better. I wish I could invest in them. Obviously I am a newbie and clueless.

What is the difference between of a "Awaiting Approval" and a "Pending" withdrawal? which  precedes which one?

I have 2 ripple withdrawals in "pending" after clicking their link sent to my mail to confirm the withdrawal.

As I see so many requests, it looks like withdrawels are processed manually. Maybe technical or financial problems could be the reasons. Or ETH itself could have transfer issues.
Hope, poloniex will become again the good exchanger, as it was. Hope that it will not turn into scam.

Since July 29th my BTC transfer is awaiting approval. Has any Awaiting Aproval order been updated or actually went through this last week? My ticket is #348195.

If you experience "Awaiting Approval" status, then you are advised to verify your account using your scanned passport  or ID Card issued by your country along with your photo while holding your passport / ID Card. Because i have experienced it a year ago, then i verify. 3 days later, my withdrawal went well until now.

I had 2 withdrawals and they took less than 5 mins.

I'm at 20ish hours stuck 'pending'...and it's friday evening, so here's hoping they work on weekends.  *sigh*

I'm facing the same issue. I'm trying to withdrawal some Ripple and the transaction is taking too long to get approved. More than 20 hours by the time I write this post. I just don't know if this is normal or not. Thinking of opening a ticket there.  ???

I have lost money due to delayed withdrawal over 2 days my coins lose their value until I get them.

As far as I know after getting mail from the Poloniex once you confirm the mail then they will send your withdrawal automatically. I never experience any problem like this before because after confirming I am getting my withdrawal fastly.

Aaaaand I did a withdrawal of 1 btc without knowing and I didn't know.

After confirming the mail which you get from the poloniex. Soon they will process the withdrawal but for some time it will take more than 2 hours to process the withdrawal.

Lastly poloniex was response so fast in any withdrawals but lately when bitcoin together with the other crypto currencies fall down poloniex transactions will delay response. Maybe it is because of transactions fees, delayed of transaction due to traffic in blockchain or any other matters happen in crypto industry. I guess it will gonna be okay so be patience in waiting.

If huge amount it can be that long, but some exchanges took really long to approve withdrawal especially poloniex. Still maybe depend on value.
