If I want the price to go up for a year I'd have to invest in stable coins, so it's a shame that there aren't really ten of them.  It would go something like this though:

1.  Bitcoin (if it counts)
2.  Litecoin
3.  Dogecoin (it's dead but it's pretty stable now)
4.  Ethereum
5.  Monero (less stable)

After that it gets a bit hazy.  I would have to choose some really small coins which are designed to be as stable as possible, although some of them might not get away with being called cryptocurrencies.

Anybody betting $100 on any new crypto that is coming out soon or just come out that might make you a millionaire?

I see alot of the replies so far have been in the safe areas of established coins. Anybody willing to throw some on some unknown one that might just make you rich?

Try to choose any coins that you know clearly in the market, especially if you do a little research for all that coin it can be good for analyze. Because one year will be enough time for a scam coin.

Low marketcap coins always have a big big risk. So always do your own research first. These 2 is my darkhorse for low mcap coin, if they keep continue their development, i think it have huge potential.

That's a good question if you currently see the status of mostly all altcoins they are at all time high for the price and the market cap. I would invest in dash,monero,LTC,ETH,melon,cloackcoin,ripple. I don't know many trusted 10 altcoins so i will invest around 160$ each. And expect a profit of 900$

I will just go to coinmarketcap and list the top 10 and invest in these top 10 in coinmarketcap,I believe in coinmarketcap because they have the correct and complete data,will not go for advice from the other traders,coinmarket is already sufficient.

1. bitbay  - download the wallet  after the 22nd and take a look
2. pivX (dash but fair)
3. ltc - got to pump sometime
4. bbr (if CZ returns like he says he will after some time ...who knows)
5. sys - (for me not as good as bay but still good opportunity)
6. zcash - get the feeling will be pumped sooner or later too
7. bitcoin stable gains in coming years
8. blocknet (could very well be a scam/vapour but if it delivers from these prices will rocket) risky
9. doge community needs to take it over and fork it
10. byteball (don't like the distribution at all but seems to have interested a lot of known developers)

I also think Blocknet.  People need to update their thinking about block. Most are still stick in 2014 fud thinking. dx launches in a month.

In terms of your capital, Bitcoin is certainly too expensive so i would definitively go for Decred, Ethereum and Monero.

When Blocknet is active we don't need the crook Poloniex, it's the beginning of decentralized exchange

I am not good at buying and selling before price fall so I will leave it to professional to mange it for me.
Instead if investing in 10 or 12 different currencies and getting headache of managing them,I would rather invest in one crypto mangement platform like TaaS or ICONOMI.

i think its enough for me to have this all coins in my wallet and i will hold it for 12 months and i am sure, after that time, i can make big profit.
