Primalbase - Shared Workspaces on Tokens
Real estate is probably one of the most conservative areas of the economy while Blockchain is considered a disruptive technology about to change the world.

You probably know WeWork - it’s a great idea to have a shareable infrastructure with a global community. We know many other projects like this, and we believe that crypto tokens would fit perfectly well into this model. That’s how we came up with the idea of Primalbase, an all-inclusive sharable workspace at the very heart of the world’s top tech hubs with a crypto-token membership bought only once. It’s scalable, fast to set up, flexible in terms of timing and the size of the team.

The first stage of Primalbase shareable infrastructure development requires the setup of 5 shared workspaces of up to 2000 square meters in the following strategic locations most beneficial for tech entrepreneurs: Amsterdam, Berlin, London, New York, Hong Kong. The efficiency and profitability of Primalbase business model lie in the approach to divide the infrastructure into rentable offices (based on classic, standard real estate relations) and non-rentable co-working spaces (based on crypto-economic relations) reserved only for Primalbase community members.

If anyone outside of the community wants to rent Primalbase co-working space, it can be arranged by temporary ownership of the membership (renting Primalbase token from a community member). However, the underlying profit of Primalbase will be gained from renting offices to companies, project teams, startups, branch offices, etc., and it will cover the operating expenses of the property management company.

The Primalbase cryptocurrency token is built on Waves Blockchain. There is already a proof-of-concept running in Amsterdam at full speed and receiving endorsements from prominent tech entrepreneurs from all around the world who have become members of Primalbase growing community. According to the business model described above, in Amsterdam unit there are offices rented by companies and shared workspaces available for current members of Primalbase community (Ralf Manheim, CEO at Just Sports Marketing, Sasha Ivanov, CEO at Waves Platform, Dmitry Tokarev, CTO at Dolfin, Aaron Rovner, CMO at Forsta).

I love the idea. Need the whitepaper, short on the token details, how many will exist and will there be enough biz to keep the coin alive and keep up with inflation? Those are easy things easy to get right or wrong. I agree with what someone else said. San Francisco would be a great place. The Silicon Valley got much larger and San Fran is now HUGE part of it as people know. This would be big there I would think.

I will certainly be watching this. Its a great idea. The use of the phrase Real Estate when you're talking renting shared work space through me for a min. Makes me think of the housing market, house and land sales not shared workspace rentals.

Couldn't see on whitepaper but saw on the site that says no other token creation after the ico process. That means 1250 token is fixed supply.

But the leasing thing need to be explained more. there is brief explanation on whitepaper. Is it like Waves leasing. If I lease my tokens still I have the voting right?

Dev team should consider changing to around 1 to 10 million tokens.  Your ICO will be more successful.  People don't like owning a fraction of a token.  It just sounds weird telling people you own 0.0001 Primal Base.

Great Project! Good luck, Guys! Think about co-living for the tourist in your concept. I know in Silicon Valley there is many legendary hostels and hotels where lives startupers. Will be great if you create something like that for blockchain enthusiasts.

I haven't had time to research this project yet but do they plan to own the properties?  If so, those places are very expensive.  Especially Singapore, where a 1-2 bedroom luxury apartment can cost over 2million USD.

Yeah, from the amount they are planning to raise, it does sound like the properties will be rented.  Singapore is a great country for cryptocurrency.  I heard it has the highest percentage of millionaires in the world.  There are already some crypto projects from there.

At first I was thinking this is an ok idea but now I actually think it's a great idea.  These locations are very expensive and are in prime locations for promoting businesses.  I wonder if these workspaces can be rented by the day or will it be long term rentals.  Dev's should also consider getting in touch with Private Security for these locations.  It would make it more popular if these workspaces had a security guard.  For some, it may be their first time visiting the Country and with all the chaos happening around the world, they will feel more safe while getting their work done.  Just a thought.

Yes, you can  :) ... you need not to buy 1 or 2 PBT, you can also buy something like 1,245 PBT or 0,024 PBT if you want ... but only as long as there isn't all sold out ... to spend half ETH is also possible  :) ... you can also have a look on the prices ... they can be different ... I mean it is possible that you get e.g. for the same amount in $ if you pay with waves more PBT than when you pay with ETH or BTC ... because of that check the prices before you pay ...

SEC Files Fraud Charges in Bitcoin and Office Space Investment Schemes

Wow interesting.  PrimalBase did not allow any U.S investors to participate in the ICO, so I think they should be okay. Question will be is it okay for US Investors to pick up PBT on trading platforms and then use the PBT to rent out on the PrimalBase platform.

What's outlined in that article is something so completely unlike Primal Base that it's almost not worth noting. Sure, the basic concept of shared workspace is the same. But this guy was perpetuating a huge scam with no intention of creating an actual infrastructure of legitimate co-working sites. So, yes, it's in the same space so to speak. But of a completely different order. Glad the fellow will face the consequences of his dishonesty.

We've been promised a big announcement on August 1st. I don't anticipate that it will include an exchange listing like Bittrex but you never know. More likely it will have to do with the implementation of their roadmap and related plans. But all of that will be foundational and help a lot when it comes to getting PBT listed on exchanges like Bittrex. So stay tuned.

Are there any leaks about the market chosen by Primalbase?

There really no reason for there to be "leaks" about the upcoming Primal Base locations. The first five are known: Amsterdam (already open), Berlin (soon to open in September), London, New York, and Singapore. Other future locations will be chosen by token holders through voting. So it's not like there is anything secret that can be leaked. If you keep monitoring news here and on the project's Slack, you'll know everything you want/need to know about upcoming locations and when they will open.

It is about time that somebody updates the twitter account. There are tons of questions and comments since the last post and no respond for days. We follow up with every single update here on bitcointalk forum but not all people do that. It is not good for potential investors to see it like that once hit the account page.

I think it's pretty hard to happen. See current trading on dex / tidex exchange is very quiet.

No voulme on Waves' DEX and Tidex.
PBT should on high volume excganges, also September is coming that measn they should release the mobile app soon.

I doubt that anything good will come from this project. Terrible management! No update on twitter or here on bitcointalk. No respond for messages. Waste of time coin. I regret to get involved in PrimalBase.

I hope you're also monitoring the main ICO thread. If so, you'll see that the team has been communicating in the last few days with folks there. And they are promising another update on September 1st. I think you will see that a lot has been accomplished. Sure the price may be temporarily a bit disappointing, but the team is working hard to establish the structure which will create the value needed make the price rise.

I do not know that primalbase works with eth. as I know the current primalbase uses waves platform.

The ICO price was way too expesive. It also showed that all these money collected during ICO process was not worth at all. There is still no sign of Ether gateway, and it is still not listed on a decent trading platform. There were a lot of famous name behind the project during ICO sale, but i can´t really see any of them now. Very disappointing so far...

They've mentione abouth the Ether gateway on the August update.
Please remember this real world tokenizing project. Yes I also lost lots of money on this but I think still good chance to be successful.

I think it has a long time for Primalbase to solve this problem. The price of ICO 5 BTC and the price of the primalbase is now only 1 BTC. very bad.
It turns out the Primalbase condition is now not as good as token sales.

For Primalbase, the ico price was between $ 2500 and $ 2600. You had to send 3 Bitcoins, 1900 Waves or 27 Ethereums to buy one.

It will be 3 months after 11 days. The price of the icos never surpassed. If we do not see a few transactions.

It would be great if they could fulfill their promises on time. We do not want anything else.

When it saw the ico prices on a dollar basis, I guessed there would be block sales. The reason is, some of the investors were upset and angry. We will see if it will be happen or not. If it continues the uptrend, it will see the ico price (USD).

The one who got from ico are in bad situation. Even I bought it from dex with half price of ico, I have %60 loss right now. They put on airs, send selfy with vitalik. They could not even put it on the stock market.

all participants ICO Primalbase definitely get big losses.

Less than half of Ico's price. The token is crawling in DEX and Tidex in a voluminous way. Price is $3180 on Blockfolio. I did not go in but I'm sure it's a buying order of three or five pennies. At least we will not have a chance to sell to us without entering a Liqui. The Waves team needs to make an attack in order to add tokens to their stock markets. The situation is not much different in other Waves tokens.

Team a bit silent these days though. But they publish monthly reports.

We will wait until middle of 2018 to have some move. At least it is what I understood. I do not believe it will see the ico price on BTC basis. If it will see, our profit will be on dollar basis. It is just that. Otherwise, we will be happy because not to have any loss.

Actually, their dependency is based on PBTs. I’ve joined too many ico. It is the worst investment and the most disappointing investment I have done. Nevertheless, I didn’t lose my hope. I’m still waiting for somehow if they make ETH gateway now. At that time, Etherdelta and Liqui will be happen and people who complain there might breathe.

My hopes are still high for PrimalBase even I lots big amount of money  :D
There is just 1250 PBT and that means $5-6m valuation right now. They're opening Amsterdam next week and next month Berlin.
If they can manage to sustain the business somehow then I think we can still surpass the 3BTC valuation per PBT. It's not easy though :D

It is very difficult to open 3 new Office until the end of this year. Also according to their plan it was 2. I can’t remember it right now. Eventually their first office could be opened until now. They will struggle with the first office at October and November, what will have until end of the year? If they can open second one, we will be lucky. They have fudged it with 3 announcements last 3 months. What can I say; it is not big deal to open an office, the process after that is more important. If there won’t any problem after they open the office, I will be very happy. I’ve checked the latest report now, they marked November for the Berlin office, I can’t understand how they can manage it. I wish they didn’t give any time.

I will watch this interesting project and perhaps include some Primalbase in my backing fund.

The office will be opened, the new employee said so. It will be opened but how will the opening be? Will they arrange an empty office party, or the opening will be all in order and set out? Sasha should go and congratulate, see how they do business. If the opening takes place in such a stagnant state, expectations may have a fall. The Waves main page has a PrimalBase project, which means it must definitely attend the opening, If they do not go to the opening, then they say "lets have a meeting there, have a community", it will be a little rubbish. Why would the community use an office where they do not even go to the opening? More precisely, the community won't even exist.

7-9 million dollars is an extremely low value for an ico that is hardcap sashaninvitalik. This ico will finish at  the first day. It will reach to HardCap before 30 minutes. What is important here is what the investment will be over. There will be waves ether support. It is certain but; will they accept investment with BTC in the meantime? I have not been able to enter two large projects in the last week due to myetherwallet.

The project could do a bit of work, but the team is very lazy. Months passed, they could not open an office even though they had a lot of money in their pockets. If they move like this, there will be nothing. If we who following the project were controlling this project, we opened the 3rd office now. They will destroy it because of their laziness.

This project is a project which the crypto is trying to carry real life. How can they open an office in many countries every few months?

Projects should be evaluated at long term, especially for such projects. But the price is staggering due to the slowness of the team. Perhaps if they were more active the price would not fall as much as here. I do not deny Moneta because the team is working there is another reason behind this price decline (for monetha). The reason why the primalbase is being shot from the ground is that the inability of the team to play a very important role.

You are right, it's not a short tem project definitely, just need more attention to investors from the team.

When the project first came out, I said it became a rich toy. Early on, there were sasha rumors about the primalbase. Then sasha said I was gone as I remember it. . They share here or there on Twitter they seem to spend money but I do not know now it is not right to slander miles away.

No Sasha is still on the board of advisor but yeah Vitalik was the one who misunderstood as an advisor.

I hope that the opening of the Berlin office will have a good effect on price of Primalbase. The project was far below expectations. Unfortunately most investors did not get what they expected. The promotion and marketing of the project was really good. They were able to earn the trust of most investors. But I wish they would continue with this stability.

I don't think marketing and promotion was good. They stayed silent for a long while after successful ICO.
Then they just started to connect again by using the some channels.

Primalbase AMS, The Amsterdam Office

The first Primalbase location was unofficially opened earlier this year on Helicopterstraat and served as a proof-of-concept for potential token holders and companies interested in the project. I bought it from ICO and sold it for a while after I waited so long. I'm really sorry I got it. I'm sure it will not give me anything anymore. There is no other project on the market that does not run away and the price is so bad. It could not even show up at this time when Altcoins had risen.

I lost huge amount of money on Primalbase. But still holding my tokens. With the leasing  things can be change. But obviously it won't be released so soon.

You're not the only one. But if you look in dollars, then you did not lose your money.
There are already many examples when the token is cheaper after the ICO, but then it grows very much.

I'M not sure but I think it is also below the ICO price even term of USD. Even if it was the sam or over, investors want to see more. Actually more means just what they promised. Nothing more, reasonable demands.

The project is moving forward as fast as it can while still delivering quality results.  Delays are extremely common in crypto.  This is a disruptive space where things are being built that have never been built before.  Timelines are elastic.  Primalbase still managed to open 2 out of 5 offices in 2017.  That's pretty darn good.  They are working hard on everything else.

Dont be misleading, this project is not crypto apart from funding, this is a real estate project and you should have known what you are going into before raising funds.

With the massive increase of BTC value after ICO, you should have already scaled to 2-3 development teams and you should be working on 2-3 locations at once.

I am also one of your investor, still holding but loosing faith.

We are working as hard as we can.  Instead of rushing, we prefer to take a more considerate approach to ensure the quality is there. 

Good. What about possible additional exchanges? Did PBT team continue to offer other exchanges? The volume in Tidex is doing great and this should be taken into advantage. I am optimistic those smaller exchanges will have no doubt listing PBT into their markets.

I'm sure you can understand, as PBT is a utility token (and not registered as a security) that we cannot comment on exchanges at this time.  Please don't interpret that sentence to mean anything negative.  :)

This time a year ago, Primalbase was launched with the mission of creating a new kind of ecosystem for the tech community. We set out to provide shared working spaces optimised to encourage collaboration and creativity, with every aspect carefully considered to enable those blazing a trail in fields such as blockchain, IoT, Big Data and AI to reach their full potential.

It has been a long but rewarding journey, with two hubs already opened and three more set for launch before the end of 2018. Our first shared working space opened in October in the heart of Amsterdam overlooking the iconic IJ. Chosen for its thriving tech startup scene, Primalbase AMS has rapidly become a hive of activity, with innovative startups already making waves in their field. There were some predictably unpredictable teething problems, but seeing them succeed has made it all worthwhile.

After the success of the Amsterdam office, we identified Berlin as the ideal location for a second space, seeing in it a lot of the qualities that made Amsterdam so perfect. In December, Primalbase BER opened its doors and since then it has gone from strength to strength, welcoming a number of new arrivals. Both offices have also served as a venue for the regular events and meetups organised by partners and tenants Binary District, bringing the local tech community in for enlightening discussions that have hopefully sparked new ideas and given attendees solutions to the challenges they face.

And we have not stopped there. Fast forward six months and we are finalising work on our beautiful central London space and looking ahead to openings in both New York and Singapore later this year.

We are immensely grateful for the support of our tenants over the past year. For their feedback, their ideas, and their part in making the two active spaces such thriving hubs. The startups we have welcomed into the community are as much a part of it as the offices themselves.

After such an eventful first year, we were faced with the important question of how best to celebrate. In keeping with our original mission, we decided that the logical way was to welcome new blood into the fold by giving away a massive FOUR PBT tokens to startups using tech to do social good, as chosen by YOU.

It was all-hands-on-deck again in October for us over at Primalbase. London is now open and running, with our token holders in the UK beginning to filter in. Amsterdam and Berlin are also still going strong and we’re seeing the growth of our tech ecosystem across the three Primalbase spaces.

We’re also making progress on our upcoming locations. On the other side of the world, we’ve appointed New York Operations Manager, Hannah. She will be ensuring that things get up and running as smoothly as possible at our Brooklyn base.

Ralph and Simone, meanwhile, headed out to Singapore to inspect a number of properties for our latest office over there — more news on that front later in the report!
