Lost ETH After Dao hack, lost eth after whale pumps, lost eth recently after pump to 51$ and crash to 31$.
Seems like ETH is most manipulated crypto. I like the idea of ETH but i think it's top 1 crypto for whale pumps and dumps.

I just want more people to think about it before investing in ethereum, because it's better to invest in other altcoins than lost money in whale scams.

What are you talking about? I don't see it happen, instead of those altcoins keep growing up, last time I check it.
But, people could trust byteball as well, it is really really good coin which has big potential, as it is include on top 5 altcoins after bitcoin.

This is no news.  Ethereum had been seen several time being manipulated and being subject of pump and dump.  With the huge collection in their ICO and big percentage of developer reserve plus split of blockchain which gives the developer more fund, it is no surprise that ETH can be subject to manipulation anytime DEVs wanted to get more funds  ;D.

What did you expect? ETH was going to crash as soon as BTC bottomed. It seems 944 was the bottom, now it's fighting to stay above 1000. The ETH bubble was just a side effect of the Jihan Wu crisis.

Now DASH? that is a funny. Looks like those fuckers are going to keep pumping money into the thing for as long as the hard fork fear is near BTC. If you want to gamble that is a good one.

I always hear about negative things about ethereum (price crash), but most of time it go the other way around and turns out to be positive.

Well this just proves help irrational people can be when it is obvious that you should sell this coin as soon as possible but others are pumping it, you join in the hype as well.

I have a different perception with your assumption about the ethereum. In the world of the crypto, you might not have forgotten if the pump and dump are the usual things. I give you another example, such as the dash coin. Do not you think if that same with the ethereum coin? A lot of the pump and dump right now.

ETH is very promising currency at the moment and now it looking stable after little correction. Chances are so high to get new ATH in next phase so no need to be worry about this kind of changes.

Your mistake is that you're buying and selling at the opposite times to when you should.

Buy low(like when eth was at $7) and sell high(like 3-4 months later when it hit $50). You'd have had a 600% return on your investment.

maybe you have not been lucky, I've experienced as you, lose and make hurt. but you will experience the awe of the price eth next few years, because smartcontrac on offer was amazing, and usability smartcontrac as crowdsale can add interest and attract users eth. This also had an impact on the price of eth with usd.

i no longer follow ethereum price because i got out recently on top after i got my profit.

you should always do that too. although it seems like there was another small rise in ethereum but what you should do is to buy when price is low then set a profit target for yourself. in a pumping coin like ethereum it can be a big percentage but set it to anything that you feel comfortable with an when price reaches there you dump without hesitation an dump hard :)

that way you get the profit you were looking for and never ever in your life regret anything anymore.

i don't know if we can exactly call this situation this term but it can be an example of a dead cat bounce.

in this situation, what happens is that those who bought cheap are now exiting and making the price crash. so when they sell price goes down because now there is more supply. but there are still more people who wanted to come in because of the rise and they are too late so they see a dip and they start buying and price comes back up a little.
again more traders exit and price goes down again. and this time more, and this keeps happening until price is back at normal levels and bubble is over.

Are you sure about this ETH is scam it looking you have bag of ETC. But I don't ETC will rise like ETH.

using the word scam about altcoins is meaningless and even stupid in some cases. i think you can only call it scam if there is something shady with the code or the wallet.

ETH, ETC, .... are just pump and dump manipulated coins. it is pretty simple really. try to take advantage of it.
buy them when whales are accumulating or even before them and then dump before they even start instead of getting dumped on, take the profit and run back to safety and watch the price fall from afar and enjoy the show.
or even if it went a little higher you still got your huge pump profit and got out, that is a big win. and the dump is not avoidable.

It was hardly a crash mate... yes it was a correction, these are normal as whales would like to cash out time to time... be smart and keep your eth, and buy more when corrections occur.

The ethereum universe and dapp development is still in baby stage, on a longer time scale... In my opinion ethereum will become huge and eth's very valuable in the coming years...

it's very hard for etheruem to crash to $31 now the value look very solid and strong, and all other coins are pumped as well, why should etheruem crash and not other? better advice is to not invest in clone of clone like ETC and zcashclassic, those are bad investment and only pump and dump
