Title: suggestion for Micro-Wallets (ePay & FaucetHub)
Post by: donaldbitcoin on March 21, 2017, 09:13:33 PM
Hello

I hope this feature get applied on any or both ePay and Faucethub because it's very important for me.

Please add new balance is not usable by any API, as like Safe Balance.

because i'm spending on my faucets ~0.05 btc daily, and now i have to do deposits every day.
i worry to put 0.25 btc at once in hot-wallet, i also don't put this in my blockchain hot wallet.

having Safe Balance will help us to keep limited funds in our hot-micro-wallet.
so transfer funds from safe balance into hot-micro-wallet will be instant, no need to wait for deposit confirmations..

someone will say you can set limits on your API, this is Not enough.
sometimes i pay 1m satoshi within 30 minutes, so having 1m satoshi limit per 30 minutes is not good for me.
and all limits will be expired after a while, so your funds will not be safe even using limits.

i want to have no API limits for my hot-micro-wallet balance. because there is no average spending per time in my site.
i want to keep safe balance in other hand.

I hope to see this applied on both Faucethub and ePay.

Thank You!

yes this is good to understand ;)
in xapo iam using a extra wallet for my faucet and a safewallet for my balance ;)
deposits there are instant .

the same would be great on other micro wallets.

kind regards

No need.

If other microwallets want to do that, be my guest.

As for

FH is a cold storage actually, which sends X (BTC required for withdraws each day) +3% coins from cold storage to hot wallet, so users get paid in time.

I don't see why you'd be scared.
FH is the real deal Fort Knox. This thing can't be hacked.

i don't worry from FH, i worry from API bad uses or hack attempts in our sites.
i ask to add Safe Balance inside FH, but not accessible by any API. that's what i mean.

Why don't you simply set it to 0.05 over 3600 mins which is 1 day? There's no difference, if you know how much you're paying every 24 hours?

Most of my sites have a limit of 250k per hour, lol

looks working fine. thank you very much!
now the work is much easier with Faucethub  :D

just little update if you can add usable balance to be more clear for us,
now we can calculate it (balance - safe balance) but i guess better to write it clearly.

here is example for what i mean :
