Is it good the hackers asked for it to be paid in ether too?

I doubt they actually did it. I mean 220 million accounts and the ransom is just 75,000 dollars?!?! That sounds very fake or just very stupid! :D

This reminds me of the Austin Powers movie where the bad guy ask for a million dollars and everyone starts to laugh about the low sum he asked.

I think its not true as the amount is too small and the guy even if he has hacked that iphone he must be a genius and does not know how much he is worth .
