seems too big to fail now doesnt it....i'm mostly out of eth now but await a pull back to 30 range. Hopefully won't miss the next jump but if so I am starting to wish any crypto to break out of our tiny pond so eth or any other will do. Once people start to look at crypto they will not just stick to one they will start to look around and pick one they like that has the features they find useful to them.

surely a bit of a retrace before up further but could be wrong.

I'm still big on ETH.  I think it closes the year over 100, and hits it pretty easily.

Some recent hiccups because ENS fell flat, but ETH has a bright future with a lot of big news items on the horizon (some more in depth discussion here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiZwKJqbleQ&t=4s )

If you think it's worth investing in right now (you have to decide that for yourself, sorry to say), then use a bit of basic technical analysis to get in a 'good' price.  Wait for a small pullback in price.  Buy into weakness, sell into strength.

the only conclusion that i can make from the stats you gave here is that initially bitcoin price went up and ethereum kept its price versus bitcoin up with tooth and nail and that led to the initial USD price rise of it.

and also the more important conclusion is that ethereum is now in a bubble because of the HUGE price rise. and no sane person would ever invest into a bubble. he waits it out to burst then waits out the series of price falls and then buys back at the bottom.

I feel like ethereum is already overbought and if btc rises up,
etc will definitely go down. I wouldnt invest right now.

It's especially exaggerated in a massive bull market like cryptos.

Too late, the ETH train has left the station. Best thing to do now is to wait for a pull back or for a nice correction. Buying now is risky. ETH is already facing some resistance at 49/50 USD. You might get better opportunity to add at lower levels if you have patience. Otherwise add little by little every week.

last time before ETH i heard DASH will jump perfectly and most people says it would be good to buy before the price rise up again but in the fact that DASH rally price has been over and i think ETH also would not so different and i believe it will dropped soon so it is too late buying ETH currently

It is not a right time to buy because the price is already a bit too high, maybe you need to wait for a few moments because ETH price swing is a bit fast, in my prediction ETH will go down in this few weeks, but that is just my prediction but I will suggest to invest in bitcoin for now, because the price is a bit low at the moment

the thread's title makes you out to be a classic sap. that's what pumpers want and it's people who don't want to miss out who are the ones who buy near the peak and then spend ages underwater.

buy it when everyone else thinks it's a disaster. that's where the profit is. no matter what anyone thinks of ethereum, it certainly ain't going anywhere. a buy when things are dead will pay off eventually.

I am really impressed by the growth of ETH but to purchase when the coin is at an all time high is a big red flag for me ,people who invested in it when they were able to grab at a good price would be happy enough to book their profits. I would wait for a correction to invest in it.

I would wait for price to drop a little bit, but ETH seems like a good long-term investment.

New to the forum but keen interest in Ether over time (bought some last year at $11.5 then some more again at $8 when it dropped and there was a lot of poor speculation on it, so clearly happy with my decision now). Got into it from interest in and following Ethereum blockchain technology and its adoption within a number of global financial players therefore assumed that the value of the token is bound to increase over time.

Not like it was a much that I put into it but now not so sure what to do...I would like to buy more but with the current price, the gains won't be that much..but I guess better than nothing ???

while it's true that the money from btc are in some altcoin, i can't see how ethereum is overbought when the value is not so far away from his past peak, the many bitcoin dumped are now on dash not on other alt so much, so beaware before thinking that this is only temporary and all the alt will be dumped, because this is not true

Nothing is not late for anything in cryptocurrecny marketing even Bitcoin. but you should be careful on altcoins nowadays. There are high volumes. You should analyze before purchase.

For buying ETH has been already late, now Ethereum price is increasing because the price of bitcoin is decreasing. We can easily predict few coins how the market, analyze will be, but for some coins, it is not possible to predict.

The price of the ethereum will always stable on $30-$40 range. If that gets pump over $40 and I just think if that was a short pump and it will not longer.

To investing at this stage is too late for a new holder. We do not know about the future of the ethereum itself. Does it increase asap? Or the price gets plunged.

According to the latest news of ethereum and there will more bullish trend in the future to make the price of ethereum goes up.
