I mainly mess with bitcoin, but I am now considering some Alt coins as well. Any advice is appreciated.

For ICO investing, look at the people behind the project, can they develop what they actually promise, this is the main issue in crypto projects. You can see the chart showing you the dynamics of price compared to bitcoin or USD. You can also see the total price of the alt you are looking at (the whole market capitalization). Circulating supply is the amount of coins really used by users (the rest remains static as savings of people. Just hold Bitcoin and Litecoin. Everything else is purely pump and dumps and you will be eaten alive trying to trade.
These two coins are the only ones you should hold. |
