Post by: crimsonfinal on March 23, 2017, 09:12:52 AM
I'm a beginners in this directory, so if i get a pc with a budget Motherboard and a Dual core CPU (intel), 4GB ram, and get 3 or 6 GPU (RX 480 or GTX 1080). I wonder that my budget motherboard and CPU can support such high end graphic cards? or can it support 6 GPU at once?

The mother board will not be able to handle that. It won't have enough slots. I am not sure what could you need but that is a good question. I think the cpu will be fine and I don't  the tam is a problem either.

If you wanna go for 6GPU you have to buy a mobo that has 6PCIE obviously.
Also consider that now every GPU can work with them, if you spend some times reading on this forum you will find many MOBO that people manage to use with 6 GPU.
Just follow their lead, H81 pro BTC or the equivalent bio star are a good starting point

You need a mobo with just 6x pcie x1 , not all x16 and use pcie x1 to x16 raisers to handle the 6 cards on the mobo

There are some good 6xpcie mother boards out there. One of them is the Biostar TB85.
