which website would you recommend if you want to generate a BTC adress + private key only ?

i've used that website before, but how safe is it actually ?

It's safe. I've been using my address fro that site for almost 2 years and never had any problem plus it is being recommended by sites like coinbase and even blockchain.info itself if you will look for a tutorial on how to make a paper wallet.

You can never know for sure, im using website from my sig to generate paper wallets. But safest way is to generate private key on offline system, then print it on some fancy paper :). Longest way to do, but safest.

It is safe, but if you are using that website directly, then you're not doing it in a safe way.

That website uses client-side javascript to generate the wallet. That means that you can use it offline as well.

The best practice is to use their code on a laptop/pc that has never been connected to the internet.

I've personally used walletgenerator.net many of times and stored decent amounts of coin (some Bitcoin, some Altcoins) on wallets generated by that site. If you want to go the extra mile (which I highly recommend) you can also download the site and run it offline, effectively guaranteeing that you’re safe from any code that sends the website’s owner your private key. And, as an added bonus, you can use that site to create a fair number of altcoin wallets too.

if you just want to generate a paper wallet containing a private key and don't like bitaddress (which is safe by the way) then use any bitcoin wallet that you like!
bitcoin core, Armory, Electrum, Multibit, .... all of these will make a series of addresses + private keys for you, then just use one of them as your paper wallet.

Using https://www.bitaddress.org online to generate paper wallets are very risky and creating it off-line is risky too. I would use a air-gapped computer with no internet access, if you are going to use those wallets for big amounts. I bought a second hand computer and printer for $100 at a local pawn shop and I use that to create paper wallets offline.

The computer and printer will never be connected to the internet again, so nobody can get access to any cached information. I will burn and destroy it when I am finished with it. ^smile^

This is the site that i used when i first tried bitcoin paper wallet and it is very easy for me to generate because you just need to hover your mouse and then it will generate random address and private for you, it is advisable to download the site as html and turn off your internet and load the site so you can generate paper wallet in a safe mode because you are offline.
