As the altcoin Dash hits 0.100BTC, do you think its time to assume ETH will hit 0.100BTC or $100usd per piece.

Upon checking now Poloniex, current ETH's volume is 100K BTC, while Dash is only 17K, is this a preparation for an incoming pump and dump for ETH?

It's possible for the ethereum, in my analyzation the ethereum gets more bullish news by the mainstream press. it will give an impact for the ethereum market and it will turn the market to the bullish trend again.

With ethereum? Yes,It is possible.
In past i have seen the ETH rolling back with the fork, but it has got a big bag holders with major use of coin in dark net.
If Dash can reach 0.1 BTC then ethereum can surely do..

i think it will go there,,

but don't forget about correction,, it will happend, then the up trend of eth will continue

if you have trust from this coin it might possible to hit .1 btc in this coming days, as we seen that it really moving up from each day inside
polo and trex, better to watch out and do some good review better to join the ride when it is still hot and avoid being FOMO.

I beleive this coin will hit 0.1BTC, as price this past days has been increasing and accumulative. Eth coin has been on the top these past years. Even this has dumped and pump still it will rised again. Many also investors in Eth so it will pump indeed to 0.1 BTC though.

I hope any of the alts can take down btc. It's time for btc to stop ruining the party with the infighting and nonsense.

I don't think eth is the answer but more of a bunch of strong alts taking over.

Why do we need just one dominant currency and the rest referred to as alt coins.

It's just variations of crypto currency now. BTC has proven it's not a perfect model and since one of the major downfalls is that they have no way of correcting the flaws it will have to be surpassed by updated models.

yeah but the supply is 4x times higher, not a fair comparisin, i can make an altcoin with 10 trillion supply and have each one worth $0.01, and i beat bitcoin, but this sound right to you? of course not, and this is what ripple did with their coin, for etheruem i think can grow more if bitcoin is dumped more

Dash reaching at 0.1 btc was just a game and nothing more. From the past 7 days or so the price of dash has literally stopped growing. Mostly if the price doesn't increase within a month we see the price of dash coming back to 50$ or maybe back to it's original price of 25$.
In case of eth there is totally full chance of it to grow till 0.1 or even 0.2 within one year because this was the year for eth to prove that it can still grow and it actually did that. Eth can surely replace bitcoin in long run as it has more supply , better features lime smart contract so that few business can actually adopt it rather than all of us simply speculating bitcoin will be adopted .

Pretty Interesting talking about ETH price, in my opinion i think that will hard to hit 0.1 BTC, but may be if ETH price keep growing, and bitcoin price down, it's possible the ETH price will hit 0.1 BTC, nah market conditions is very nice at moment, just look in some exchanges history.

It would happen with recent altcoin project using ETH contract into the projects but with the Bitcoin's price go higher hits at $1.100 now, it takes long time to make ETH like that.

Yes thats what I feel now, ETH is going down not going up. Looking up to ETH's graph chart, looks like its a falling wedge pattern. But one thing for sure, if Bitcoin dumps , many bitcoin owners will surely buy ETHs.

Yes, around $10 has fallen from last week's price. It may be a good time to start accumulating in small quantity to get a better price over next couple of weeks and later we may get a chance to sell at a quite higher price. Since now darknet also going to adapt it has a payment method slowly its prices will go higher.

likewise its better to accumulate eth while price still cheaper and wait for the value to go up again, it will take some time but for sure
it will be much profitable in the long run, as we seen adoption will be cater coming from more services, still looking positive about eth
and good assessment is needed before placing an entry.

the volume is high because of the dumps that has been happening from the pump and it will continue to be high when whales cash out, they sell a lot of coins and that will increase the volume. it may also be some fake volume reporting by poloniex always.

also i wouldn't count on 0.1BTC price for ETH unless bitcoin price starts going down to $900-$800 which is not possible based on what can be seen from bitcoin market.
and as i said before, price of ETH will depend on price of bitcoin they have always pumped it based on that and used the FUD in bitcoin to their pump advantae.

so if BTC goes above $1200 you can kiss ETH price goodbye.

eth will touch 0.1 in the last of this month then 0.15 in the next month

I bought some ETHs when it was 0.055btc but I forgot to sell it, now its playing between 0.038 to 0.42, what shall I do?

• Sell the ETHs and face the 30% lose .
• Wait for the ETH to reach 0.055 again?

The lesson is, don't buy coins after a huge price rise.  You have to find real potential for the future in coins and buy in early, otherwise you'll end up losing when the price falls.  You should sell, it won't go much higher than it is now.  You need to read up on pump/dumps as well, even if Ethereum is huge and somewhat original it can still be pumped.

Yeah right, this is a big lesson to me. I would never ride the next pump again. I will always put a stop loss. Thanks a lot dude, goin to sell all my ETHs and charge to experience :(

My guess you're trying to sign on the eth market on the green candle.
Don't you expect about the next bullish trend of ethereum. Sell your coin will be a wise decision for you. I tried to assume if you can try to move into another potential coin while that can get bearish and you can be waiting for the next bullish trend to recover your loss amount.



My suggestion, you can try to learn more about the trade. Basically, if you do not know how the market works and that like you just waste your money.

Maybe one day, I don’t think anytime soon tough, there is a bull market for bitcoin right now and when there is a bull market for bitcoin that means a bear market for altcoins, if one day that reverses like recently and eth keeps their coin valuable and provide new features or a bigger community by than at least, than it is quite possible. Definetly worth the try.

sell and buy cheaper is a good strategy now that you ahve this situation, if you wait 0.055 you need to wait also for higher price to sell right? very unlikely now, bitcoin is going up and all alt going down


yeah it look like it, and the price speak for itself, ethereum is going down and down, i can't see anymore any 0.1 like this thread was predicting, but still 0.04 is a very high respectable value for a coin that also have the biggest marketcap after bitcoin

Hope he is going to take your advice, I will support sell, I think the Ether rally is over for now and it is forming head and should downward pattern. You can see and enter the market back when the pattern changed to upward direction

For me, not yet. We can't really expect that thing to happened now just because the ETH price is experiencing a big hard pump. For BTC0.1 for ETH price to be reached it's needs more tons of bitcoin and dollars. And I think big dump will happened soon as big traders are always not tend to buy at higher price rate.

If happens, then good. So for now just keep following the price so that whatever happened we are up to date and never be get behind.

Sell now your ether and just do a day trading to recover your losses. If you wait for the ether to bounce back again their price, I think it will took you too much time because ethereum pumping was over and bitcoin price are inflating now. Only short trading will be your hope to recover your loss or wait then loss more.

Perhaps not that fast since now it is going down and it seems those who said the price was pumped were right but I still think that's a good coin and 0.1 btc is only a matter of time now. Yes, companies support and slightly regulate it, but in general the coin is quite self-sufficient and strong even if $50 is not the real price for now. Just remember bitcoin when it reached $1k a few years ago. And were people saying it's a 'pump and dump' then? I don't think so. And thus they are being unfair now.

i think is very long time can incraese to  0.10/ETH but still posible, DASH can incraese to 0.12 bitcoin/DASH is high price

First release a coin and then start mining it with small hash rates to avoid difficulty going up and poor folks rush in with their GPUs as well, so you could mine all by yourself or in a small tight group not making much noise to attract the masses and when you fastened your seat belt(mining millions of coins)then push the gas pedal to the bottom(pump&manipulate cause FOMO).

It is not a manipulation, but every result of the market depends on the progress on the altcoin project itself. More good news will come true and the price will flow to the next level.
Although tons of the coin on the ethereum chain but they're trying to survive with its progress. It's not pegged with the progress of the ethereum project itself.

many people getting stuck with eth because they are buying eth in high price and if for now they sell, they only cut loss and never make profit but if they are patience to waiting for increase price, then i think they can make a nice profit. i think almost all of altcoin getting stuck and not just ethereum, because bitcoin price is really high and only if bitcoin price is down, then altcoin will have a chance to gets up again like yesterday and i think we need to waiting more.

actually many people are buying and have always bought ethereum because they have the illusion of ridiculously high prices. you can even see topics about $1000 for ethereum. and that my friend is a very dangerous thing for price of an altcoin and that is one of the reason why I mostly try not to invest in this coin anymore.

you see when people are buying an altcoin based on pure hype and they keep losing money and in the long term they don't reach their goals they eventually give up and dump. and by the time that type of dumping starts the price crashes hard.
that is not going to be a simple whales and day traders dumping, that will be anybody who ever had any fake faith dumping and it adds up to a lot of sell pressure.

I think it's quite difficult to increase 0.1btc because Many big investors bought ETH at 10$-20$ at the end of 2016 and sold at 30$-45$ to get very big profit during 3-4 months so They don't want to buy ETH with this price  so ETH price must decrease under 25$ so that They can come back to buy ETH again. I believe that ETH will be deeply down in next months.

I am seeing a lot of speculation regarding ETH and even in this forum i see that a major news is going to break pretty soon which will take the price above 0.1 btc and i just want to know what the truth is and it is even remotely true that any major announcement will come which could potentially increase the value.

That was just a exaggerated news, we all experiencing a price charge of ether but does not mean that it will hit 0.1btc easily. Especially right now that bitcoin price was rising. I believe that existance of ETH based altcoins are the main reason why ETH still rising now. Most of the successful ICO nowadays are ETH based coin.

Eth wil hit 0.100BTC im not sure because the btc price still growing up, that possible if the BTC price will down a bit, but afaik ETH have a good potencial about the price, hold is the best way i guess

Be patient. ETH needs some consolidation for the long run. This is a very unique and promising coin. Just keep hodling. Surely the price will go up soon.

True, I agree with you. Bitcoin prices still continue to rise, and I am not sure ETH will hit 0,100 BTC soon. Slowly now ETH down and now there is at 0.03559 BTC. Takes a long time for ETH could rise again and reached 0,100 BTC. Hold and buy some maybe it is the best option at this time. Indeed altcoin including slow growth, so be patient and look at the right time.

Dumping eth would be the worst idea as this altcoins is actually getting more famous and it was also featured on mainstream media. Reaching 0.1 btc may take it maybe like a year but I'm totally confident eth is not a pump dump coin like daah for sure.

Eth hit 0.1 BTC again maybe we need wait the next three year.

From all altcoins that are in the market today, ETH is, IMO one of the few that could reach this mark. I say this because of the huge list of features that it has that BTC doesn't have. It gives ETH a different purpose, which makes it more attractive to investors that are looking for use cases for cryptocurrencies.

I think the price will be around current level for some months.
