Title: Cheapest and probably best open case rig setup possible
Post by: chaosgs on April 23, 2013, 08:22:25 AM
Just throwing this out there because I see a lot of people spending to much on open air rigs.

Cost $40 at Target, cant find it online because their website is shit. Holds 4 rigs with risers and a non riser board on top OR 2 surge protectors. Easy to install, sturdy, and great cable management POTENTIAL (im not wasting my time on that lol).

If your not lazy like myself you can further install a divider on each shelf to hold 2 rigs per shelf. Lots of room for creativity. Im going to decorate mine when I feel like it lol.

1550-1750 Watts (depending on room temperature) with 3600 M/hash. When I get more extenders for better air circulation I can start OCING more video cards and will easily get 4000 out of it.

Each rig is actually even on power consumption about 550 watts each.
