As the middle eastern country’s economic situation shifts, the region is steadily becoming fertile ground for bitcoin adoption.

Over the past few years, people have stated they believe Iran is the perfect candidate for embracing bitcoin’s censorship resistant utility. The logic behind this is largely due to the U.S. sanctions against Iran, which strictly enforces economic embargos and trading bans against the country. Many other countries also follow the sanctions as the U.S. and the United Nations Security Council has put a lot of pressure on allies to support the trade guidelines.

I am not sure if advertising the utility of Bitcoin in avoiding sanctions is the right thing to do. It could result in unnecessary negative attention and scrutiny on Bitcoin, similar to what happened with Silk Road.

The profane alliance with Iran will weaken bitcoin. Iran has nothing to offer bitcoin but a huge loss.

Do not take into account what any leftist says about the market, much less what he talks about bitcoin. The leftists want to take the bitcoin to the same failure to which they have led the socialist countries.
