Title: Best pos/pow coin
Post by: xGravity on March 29, 2017, 10:35:23 AM
Which is for you the best pos/pow coin? I personally like some older coins useing both algorithms together.

There is no cryptonote coin which is pow and pos right?

I think that Magi XMG is one such coin.

I thought you meant Magi is Cryptonote.

Wonder who will be first to make a Cryptonote hybrid.

I think most popular PoW/PoS coin is DECRED.

PoS lottery resolves some know issue of the classic PoS system like nothing at stake and allow you to take part in the on-chain governace, really awesome.  8)

i like nexus has both pos and pow and it's growing strong, other good one is decred of course everyone love the pos in decred, cryptonote with pos and pow are not feasible i think because of ring signature, prolly the reason why there are none, read https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/2ddq40/is_it_technically_possible_to_switch_from/

Thank you for all your replys. I will have a look at the named coins and check their unique pos/pow specs.
Do you think that for a coin to be successfull it should have pos and pow together?
