Post by: very_452001 on March 29, 2017, 11:59:19 AM
Hi,

These questions may be asked 1000 times already, totally new to this exchange:

If cancelling trades (buy/sell/stop-limit) I am liable to still pay the maker/taker fees which are 0.15% and 0.25%?

Thanks,

At Poloniex and probably all other exchanges, you only pay the fees for a trade if the trade was completed. If you cancel the trade or the trade is never made, there are no fees charged.

Of course, if that's the case of yours. As far as I know about it, in every exchange platform if can you cancel any of your trade whether buy/sell it there will be no any charge of cancellation on your buy wall and sell wall. :)

In their offical web site, poloniex says that Majority of customer funds are kept in cold storage. And as you know Two-factor authentication available for our protection in there. This still does not guarantee anything.
