Is the tech stats provided the total of the server shared among shell accounts (how many accounts do you plan on?) or is this the tech stats of a virtual server's quotas?
I ask, because I would consider 5 BTC per month for a simple shell account excessive, since I can get that for free many places. But I would consider a virtual server, or a shell account with admin authorities to install programs (i.e. a small game server, for example) inside of a sandbox (which is basicly what a virtual server actually is) to be a bargin. I wouldn't put a game server in Finland, as the ping times would suck, but that is an example. * Outgoing SSH: yes. There's no restrictions in outgoing traffic. * Screen: yes * Irssi: yes * Crontab: yes * Bitcoin coin generation: not allowed, sorry * Not a virtual server, resources shared with all users. * Root access: no Remember: I am really not very unix oriented person and this is just a hobby for me. :) edit: coin generation Title: Re: Linux shell account 5 BTC / m Post by: The Madhatter on November 20, 2010, 08:57:08 AM * Bitcoin client: not allowed, sorry You should allow the Bitcoin client with generation switched off. ;) Title: Re: Linux shell account 5 BTC / m Post by: jpi on November 24, 2010, 12:17:58 PM Only 2 BTC for a first month if you palce an order before monday!

Now mind you it could be a funny joke, but still, makes me suspicious. Yeah my server business never succeeded so I am moving into email spamming. Right now I am gathering addresses and my campaign will launch soon. jpi |
