I have a strange question. My Bitcoin wallet shows 0.00 .. but when I ask "getbalance <account>" then it tells me I have some moneiz: http://screencast.com/t/Npamma8Ifyww I have no idea why it's so, any ideas? Title: Re: Weird balance Post by: CIYAM on April 23, 2013, 03:18:21 PM Accounts can have negative balances and are *not* directly related to addresses (except for incoming txs) - perhaps you have another account that cancels out the one that you are seeing (in any case accounts are not relevant to actual bitcoins held).
Advice - if you think of accounting like an accountant then do not use Bitcoin accounts (they are nothing like that and they have led many users to confusion). Title: Re: Weird balance Post by: Suushi on April 23, 2013, 03:24:22 PM Well, that might mean that it's a bug ?
