It appears that the site administrators, however, are doing some impromptu research into the legality of the operation. I hope that someone figures out a good solution because I am nearly swimming in a bunch of gift cards that I would very much love to turn into bitcoon!!!

What about prepaid giftcards? Prepaid cards bought in the US, only work with US cc processors. They do not allow international purchases. So like coin.mx... can't buy bitcoins there using giftcard.
