Title: How do you guys get GPU's to fit into these X1 slots? Post by: chaosgs on April 23, 2013, 04:14:12 PM Im not sure how its done but I have read on here that some can get an X16 card to fit into a X1 slot. I also have an X1 extender cable to help. I searched for a guide but cant find one.

A 16x > 1x cable is nothing else than 1x cable with a 16 connector rather than 1x one of the female side, no extra lanes or anything is actually connected.
