Title: Alert! Possible Ponzi site
Post by: btvGainer on April 02, 2017, 12:27:11 PM
I am watching the ads for Bitcoin Generator on every website I visit these days. This ad is displaying on Google adsense and it takes you to http://bitcoin-for-you.com/
They ask you to send bitcoin to a particular address and get the double or triple amount to your desired address.
A perfect scam to lure newbies to bitcoin.
I want to warn everyone particularly newbies not to try any such websites as they are scammers who wanrs to cash in on growing popularity of bitcoin.
There is nothing that can multiple your coins like that..

i think its not good idea to send any amount in the double or triple investment programs because we don't know they are really true or not and many of them has give fake statement and fake deposit and withdrawal in their homepages. but if you are really curious with them, then you can trying to start to send minimal amount to them and just waiting when its finished and hope that you can get your money back with your profit of course. i am telling this because i have bad experience with the site like that and i have loss my satoshi to wait the time is finished.

If I remember correctly, this is not a ponzi scheme. It's a virus/malware. I already reported the website and It got added to the list of bitcoin scams: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0 . I think they have different domain names as the one I reported is bitcoinonline24.com and they are advertising the same product.

I think they are spreading ransomeware with their software which is quite disastrous than simple virus or malware. I have seen a post from a guy who got infected by ransomeware while downloading similar software advertised with youtube video.

We need to report this site to google so that they can stop ads for this site.

@OP thanks for this helpful post.

Thanks for alerting the community about this, OP. A report of this link/website to Google should do the trick and they should remove it in their results data. The only problem that I'm seeing is that once you've taken down this type of website, it will just come back with a different name and a different domain name. Being vigilant is very crucial in this age of technology.

I also came across a similar sort of site. They say they exploit the blockchain holes and double your btc and show it how it is happening. Once done, they say to send a miner fee to complete the transaction fee to thier bitcoin address.  ;D another way to trap newbies

Hi btvGainer,

In my opinion no one can offer this service to multiply the BTC from nowhere ... so for example why someone with plenty of BTC is requesting from you 0.00001 and in next 7 days will promise you 1 BTC, really if he did this once he doesn't need to request more BTC from no one so who knows the secret how to multiply BTC from nowhere and is that poor and hasn't 0.0001 BTC can borrow them from someone and he does not need to invest in a domain name, web hosting service and advertising services, why is not multiplying those money invested to run the business and keep the secret for him?!!!

The conclusion is not a Ponzi scheme is just an Online BTC Beggar for Ponzi Scheme they need intelligence and to be smart, so is not applying at this time ...

Take care,

It is not even Ponzi or any kind of investment option, rather it is some kind of malware - disguised as Bitcoin Unlimited Generator.
This is a simple scam aimed to fool bitcoin newbies who have no idea how bitcoin works.
It is sad that you can advertise scams like this using legit ads network like Google adsense.

Hey thanks for giving us a notice about these sites. I've got a friend that are entering the bitcoin scene and still considered as newbies.

I'll tell this info about it since she is gullible with investments. And I don't know that they are even spreading some malicious software as told by these people.

[...] It's a virus/malware.
[...]disastrous than simple virus or malware. [...]

Thanks to all of you guys for noticing these beggars and scammers throughout the web.

It's pretty unusual that they actually give malicious software, usually they try to build legitimacy before scamming people.  You'd have to be a new level of gullible to download that, but I guess it pays if they advertise it so some people must be.

Google has strict policy against sites spreading malware/virus and remove them from their search results.
I wonder why their sister concern adsense doesn't check the authenticity of advertisers before accepting their ads.

It's about money... to search is free to advertise you have to pay ... if is real the ad is on Google AdSense this mean even the rich Companies in these days need money not only the poor companies...

Why is the title labeled "possible" when anyone with even basic mathematical skills can tell for an absolute fact that it's a Ponzi?

Thanks for this mate, a lot of beggars are desperately doing everything. Making his site registered on google ad sense plus his asking for people to deposit to his btc address. I don't why google is allowing this type of advertising partner. Did you also tried to report the website with the management of google?

If thats the case well totally they are running as ponzi since how could they multiply the money of their imvestors easily? Well big mystery indeed? And so for that im pretty sure that they will just scam people up there.

We should remember that theirs no investment platform in this world that can make our bitcoins go double and triple easily.

Since we are warned here, it's better to avoid that site and for sure they've got some more out there.

We just need to be vigilant and don't fall for the same type of this sites that offers everything just to fool newbies out there.

And don't be so gullible to these type of websites or else you will regret it in the end.
