What happened?

After years of price suppression everybody finally looking at LTC that is about to adopt SegWit and later LN. The LTC whales stacked a lot of cheap coins in the 0.003-0.004 range and now are ready to use the news to pump up the value of Litecoin. Get ready for huge increase in the next weeks.  ;)

wasn't 0.005 before this small pump? how cna you call an increase of 50% a skyrocket? i think it's a normal increase after the dump of dash and ethereum, the money are floating on other coins and returning to bitcoin, investors have set new target now, it could be that in the upcoming day the price rose more, i'll watch and see for now

Correction happened

it was litecoin's turn to get pumped to the moon. and it was a long overdue pump for it. you can't always pump other coins, if you do nobody will come to those coins anymore and besides after you pump, you should dump, and while others are dumping you pump another coin and make another 1000% profit and go to next one.

I think litecoin price skyrocket because of segwit be activated on litecoin and it be considered successful
fixing litecoin network and make litecoin become more better than ever
then many traders who make investments in litecoin, so the price going up double and I think it is still up trend
 i am not yet find resistance area.

The Chinese also like LITECOIN a lot so this is also one reason it may be mooning. Also the fact they will adopt SEGWIT while Bitcoin is still dithering and not yet looking for a solution to the scaling problem can b giving room for LITECOIN growth.

segwit application in the LTC will be able to attract more prices rise, profits from the dash and eth make traders switch to LTC and not only that, the use of LTC in the transaction are still many, this may affect the price of LTC getting up

LTC has not even activated segwit but the rise in segwit support is already showing good gains. As days go by and people catch up with the situation we will see higher prices. Once segwit activates all LTC holders will make some great gains, maybe ATH is coming for LTC.

Looks like litecoin will be a good teacher for all of the bitcoin miners and it makes them to move his vote to the SegWit.

This called FOMO litecoin, More people is not want to late to grab more litecoin. Is this the real impact from the SegWit hype? Interesting for a watch.
It almost same with the bitcoin ETF hype.

ATH will come at the same time with the implement of SegWit.

To be honest expect current pump and segwit there is nothing good about BTC this is pure BTC clone.
LTC have during last 4years average 3000-4000tx/day... Even doge had higher rate.
Current pump is pure speculation any way all crypto is in BIG pump state now altcoins are rissing in random orther.
Doge was pumped 2.5x last commit in 2015. Looks like after Dash averyone are going to play shitcoin roulette.

Same time BTC is loosing vs alts I don't know if it is sustainable i know that many noobs will buy that LTC on top when whales will dump LTC Dash...InsertName coin here.
Last time shitcoins were pumped when BTC bubble ended.
This time bull in BTC ended in +30% move to ETH and all jumped alt party to look for next bitcoin.
That what is going on is so stupid money are going into ICO scams and are wasted in 90% cases.

Well, it just means that people behind LiteCoin saw an opportunity they should not miss. Since they have nothing to lose anyway, they can go ahead with the so-called SegWit and see what can happened. If LiteCoin can be successful with its SegWit adoption then expect more rise in the value of this "dormant" coin. I am sure that there are now many "investors" closely watching the developments on this coin and maybe make some killing along the way. Maybe it is really time for LiteCoin to shine and show its lite-weight belt to all the world to see.

it has been an amazing performance by litecoin, the rise is very strong these days and nothing seems to be able to slow it down.

people are buying litecoin like crazy and we have all seen how Chinese go nuts when it comes to their favorite altcoin (litecoin).

besides with all the other altcoins dropping fast the room is wide open for litecoin to go to the moon. today Ripple also dropped about 35% but LTC is still going up. i say all the investors are coming in, nobody wants to miss the $50 rise.
