EDIT(2017-4-5): from yesterday this percentage has gone up to 68%-69%

according to http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.php we are currently at 64.93% and in order for SegWit to activate on Litecoin it only needs 75% which is about 10% more.
then it needs to keep the percentage up for a whole period and then the activation starts.

I really hope it starts within next activation period and we see SegWit soon.

also i am expecting to see the result of this on price too.

Edit: this is because Batpool (citation needed) has joined the game. and now we are at 65.10%

can i ask you 2 things:
1) if exist, it's possible to get the link to bitocin segwit threshold??
2) if exist, it's possible to get the link to bitocin/litecoin bitcoinUnlimited threshold??

SegWit is the only one for the litecoin right now, Don't worry.
That's for sure.
The implemented of SegWit on the litecoin will or not directly give next hype for the price of litecoin. Consider if that can be the off-chain solution for the bitcoin itself.

Remember on 8 February the syscoin has announced to implement SegWit on his ecosystem and look at the chart on 8 February. BIG PUMP for the syscoin itself.
LTC + SegWit = New ATH.

Finally, something is moving forward, betting for litecoin as the next billion dollar market cap cryptocurrency.

If the things go smooth with LTC, maybe there will be more adoptions even on the BTC side. We will see.

This is good, we will see exactly how it works in reality, litecoin could work it's way up to it's ATH finally and give us all some happiness.

If the calculations are correct and with the recent addition of Batpool in the segwit signaling, the % should peak at around 70%'s.

Then it all comes down to a few smaller pools joining in or remaining hashrate being deployed by big pockets.

We are as all time highs in segwit activation, now it's time for some all time highs in price.

Starting to look like a lot of retired mining equipment is coming back online now that the price rise is making it profitable again. Most of that pointing at Segwit supporting pools. It will be interesting to see if that additional hashrate pushes it close to the 75 percent threshold.

yea for pump and $$$ averybody will do everything will be nice to see Litecoin activating it but from realist point of View LTC doesn't need it :) to live as BTC needs. But those miners for activating it deserve some good pump.
IN BTC i dont see such impact of BU client.
Abut pumping LTC you have to know that this coin have much more coins than in 2013 :) similar to doge so same way your pump expectation should be adjusted to reality.
0.02 can be Done IMO with good news behind LTC.

SegWit being the only one has nothing to do with what i just explained you have been too caught up in the bitcoin fight and FUD :)

i am just explaining the process it will take to activate it.

you are comparing apples and oranges. nobody knew or cared about syscoin and that coin is so small that it really doesn't matter.
the volume of it is 116BTC and it is being pumped right now BTW.
and for litecoin the daily volume is 90232BTC. and the hype is real.


yeah, i also noticed that. and on reddit/r/litecoin everyone is talking about it. and it seems like many of them are looking for pools that support segwit to direct their hashrate there.
i am really hopeful for this activation though.

Thought this would be @ 75% already but im now wondering if they will hold off for a while to keep the price higher and higher.

The Segregated Witness (segwit) soft fork has started signaling in Litecoin for a while.
During the past 24 hours has reached 68% of blocks signaling segwit itself. Before it reaches 75%,
the Litecoin price has already reacted. Litecoin price jumped to near 11 USD today, from USD 5
two weeks ago. Eventually, Litecoin price might reach USD 15 once segwit is fully activated in Litecoin. 

activation used to be 69%+ but now it's down to 67%! What's happening?  ???

Well, it seems to have increased the number of transactions in Litecoin:

It has gone up from around 6000 every day to about 10,000.

Still very low compared to Bitcoin and Ether - but lets see how this develops

you are worried about 2%? get over it man, that is nothing, 67% is still impressive, and near activation, litecoin miners have no reason to not activate, because they have already 4 x the capacity of bitcoin, with the block limit
