Title: Why still unconfirmed after 24 hours?
Post by: DumbLefty on April 04, 2017, 08:33:04 PM
I use the same wallet, didn't change anything. Is there anything I can do speed this up or get a confirmation? It's only .0143?

You should have paid more for fees 62.529 satoshis per byte is  very low, try this transaction accelerator https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator and your payment will proceed in the next hours.

Thank you. I just did it, hopefully it works. I didn't even realize until I just checked I did mess with the fee slider on my wallet. I'm an idiot.

Ok, I'm so confused now. So I did the accel like you suggested. I waited and the orig. transaction I sent yesterday was returned back to my wallet? So I close electrum and open again now it's back to the same ⚠ Low fee error. So blockchain sent the payment back to me but then re-sent the payment out automatically? Same fee? I mean I would have put in a bigger fee if I could have but all this happened automatically. What the heck?

Can someone please tell me what in the world is going on? Should I use the Accelerator again?

On that link above you can see the confirmed trans is when they sent it back to me but then it left again and I'm stuck in the same spot. The red unconfirmed is up top and the original trans from yesterday.

Okay I pushed your transactions via tool : https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator
For now just lets wait until viabtc get another block and I hope your transactions will included in that block.

Thanks. Hopefully it works. That's what we tried earlier and all that happened was it got sent back to my wallet address I sent from then sent to the address I was trying to send to yesterday. Maybe it works differently this time.

achow101's transaction fee booster (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1506632.0) should do the trick.

That will always happen if you always use small fee in every transaction you made. And because your transaction has big size with more than 800 bytes. And you only have to do is wait until it confirms.

Yes, reason has been said couple of times, miners fee is very very low and you can’t expect a quick transaction with that low miners fee. Which is basically the reason why people are arguing over how to solve this problem.

We had couple cents per transaction and now this looks like stuck because of low miners fee. Either core or BU or someone will eventually fix this but until than you need to pay more for quicker transaction.

If a transaction unconfirmed take a longer times instead of regular times, their most reasonable may block busy with heavy traffic and most important set low miners fee rest of your main transaction amount. Using low fees didn't have enough priority when you first sent the transaction, which is the reason for the delay.

It will work don`t worry, I had couple transactions that needed more then 24h to complete. I even have one now, withdraw from one casino, I`m waiting more then a day. I`m not even annoyed by this waiting, it is what it is, I always have what to do while I wait, but I understand people who need something fast this can create big nervous, I hope they will solve this transactions issue, its bothering a lot of people.
