Title: Twitter change helps spammers Post by: electronicash on April 05, 2017, 05:28:20 AM twitter decided to remove user names from the 140 character count. This means you can tag up to 50 people without it affecting how long your tweet can be. This sounds great right? Well if you are a spammer then it is amaz-balls! If you are an actual Twitter user then this is terrible. People are now tagging a lot of people in a post to spam them and users are getting flooded with spammy @ mentions which is also drowning out real @ mentions. Coz the update may rly be useful but these spammers are awful

When I use twitter I just read tweets from the people I follow and do a retweet if I like what they say. |
