As mentioned, I would recommend you look into the "Beginners" section of the forum, and I would also recommend checking out Bitcoin.org for a video on how the entire system works in a video format and a decent explanation, along with more resources and materials you can use to find more information from.

I use preev.com to get a relative average of Bitcoin's value across a few large exchanges, but it isn't entirely representative of the value due to it being averaged and it updating only once every 5 seconds or so.

Just go to the source:

Avoid bitcoin.com like you avoid AIDS. it is created by a bitcoin terrorist who has nothing to do with bitcoin other than being an early adopter.

Bitcoin.org is the original domain. Just visit this one for whatever information you need.

As quoted bitcoin is quite good and easily understandable. In my opinion to learn more about bitcoin videos are the best way. Now YouTube too have got more videos related to the early days of bitcoin and most other advantages that are associated with the same.

Indeed, BTC can be traded in many respected exchanges here in the net and it can also be traded with different fiat currencies. You could just search Bitcoin in Google and get many information about it. Or if you want, you can read many stuff here in Bitcointalk by going to our Beginners section. Just do your research about it and you should be fine in the long run.

Yes, you can move between local currencies on exchanges by linking your bank account to one of your local exchanges and buying Bitcoins. These

exchanges are strictly regulated under KYC/AML regulations... so expect the same verification procedures than every other financial services that

use these same regulations. {for example banks}  ::)

For starters, I would recommend https://cointelegraph.com/bitcoin-for-beginners (https://cointelegraph.com/bitcoin-for-beginners) which covers basic to mid-level guide about bitcoin.
I also follow Andreas Antonopoulos in youtube, He is one of the most respected person in bitcoin. So he has a lot of good source of video. You may want to check him out.

Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/user/aantonop (https://www.youtube.com/user/aantonop). I think this is good enough for you settle down and to get a good grip on bitcoin.

For the list of exchanges. Here's a link: https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.io (https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.io). Hope this helps and welcome to the crypto world.

If you don't mind, it might help if you share from which country you're from?
Some countries have local exchanges that will allow you to buy Bitcoin easier than more international exchanges.

You have to buy bitcoin from exchange platforms like coinbase, kraken using your bank account and cex.io where you can buy with your credit cards. You can't get any significant amount of bitcoin these days.

I know there are still people who don't have any experience with bitcoin and don't know anything about it but yet that sounds a bit strange to me. How is there someone who is not already using bitcoins? But this should encourage us to promote the bitcoin even more and spread it to as much people as possible.

If you want to look at what Bitcoin is then check the introduction to Bitcoin, it's a paper with a bunch of text that describes how Bitcoin works from the technical standpoint.
Here is the link: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

Bitcoin isn't the complicated things that you may see on the internet, Bitcoin is actually quite simple to use. There's a bunch of videos that you could watch online that describe Bitcoin and the numerous features that it has.
This video gives you an in-depth look on why people want to use Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1sBurdHCNo

There's nothing wrong about being an early adopter. I think it's because roger ver supports bitcoin unlimited that's why he hates bitcoin.com

Well, thats a very interesting thing to see: someone created an account here, and made thread with question to community, about providing some info.

I would think that most of people prefer to read about it and then start making questions, but looks like you didnt, and its great!

Anybody can exchange btc almost into any fiat currency ($,€,£,¥ or anything you want) by making an order on crypto exchange which provides services in your country, or face-to-face trade.

That is great, welcome in the forum, if you are asking about bitcoin, there are a lot of articles under the Beginners section, if you want to know much about these forum, you can go to Meta sections where it is discussed most. About recent news in bitcoin are posted on Bitcoin Discussion. As a suggestion, don't rely on these forum and start searching the internet about it, there are many books about bitcoin which will give you a good explanation about it.

Dude have you tried Google ? If you have a friend surely he would know so why ask here ? This makes no sense to me.
Bitcoin is not so much of a currency as it is like trading in stocks or bonds. Bitcoin has value in dollars. So it is like an investment.
Think if it as such. You can trade among other coins. Other coins you can consider investments or stocks too. Learn the basics friend. Then ask some questions that come up.

Welcome to Bitcoin and this forum!

Do you have any bitcoin yet? For newbies there's a very easy way to introduce yourself, you could subscribe to a bitcoin faucet. Faucets pay very low amounts of bitcoin and are combined with a lottery system to allow the opportunity to earn more.

I represent one such faucet, I'd be happy to chat with you more about it with you. There's also a link in my signature.
