There are tons of guides all over but really you have to try it on your own to actually learn it. You'll probably trade differently than someone else would anyway so think about what kind of strategy you would want to use first, then start small and working your way up.

Hi started trading just last January, dont ever try trading in Margin if you are a newbie.. I lose a lot of bitcoin. Just try the basic exchange trading from Poloniex. Margin trading is for experienced ones. Until now I stick with basic trading less risk and greater amount of profit.

Successful margin traders are professional and skillful. If you want to be successful in bitcoin trading at poloniex then develop your skills through practical Accounts using demo trade from trading platform like samplefx. Babypip is another good site were you can learn how to trade  successfully.

Try the local boards, dude.

And yeah, stay far away from margin and/or short selling.  The market will eat you alive.  That's all I'm going to say,  because I don't think you'll understand anything more.

I don't think that chart interpretation is something you'd learn through a forum. It's advanced technical information and unlikely to be conveyed through here by anyone. I'd suggest looking into sources like video courses. But even those don't go from 0 to 100, you'd need to already have some knowledge to be able to learn through courses about trading and finance in general.

I'm not much of a trader myself, but don't day trade unless you know what you are doing. There are many resources online available to teach trading such as Coursera.

To know if you are going short trade or long trade you need to look for your capital, Is you capital is big or small? If it is small then short term trading is best because you can take advantage of the volatility of the altcoins and grow your bitcoin easily within a few weeks. If you have big amount of capital then long term trading is the best because you can buy a lot of cheap coins with that and hold it and sell it for a very expensive price.

Don't try it first if you are just a newbei on it. Margin trading is for pure educational only and have an skills to do it. I just have an tips for you.

• Don't all in your funds (Pro reccomend as to use just 1% to 10% only in our funds )
• If your "Margin Position" is in red or loss ( Don't close it wait to become green )
• What if your "Margin Account" wil be liquidate. What will you do? ( Add some funds in your Margin Account to cover "Margin Call" )

Don't try it in you didn't know what is "Margin Trading" you will just lose your money.

Here l will suggest you for the simple trading first then start the high level trading .
I mean to start your trading job at simple handle exchange like yobit.Net and make himself experienced in the simple BTC/altcoin trading if you got experienced in one to two months then go at the Poloniex or any other high profile exchange , then you will easily understand what's the matter of the marginal trading and ND how to do .
Here I can explain you roughly that if you have bitcoin of the value of bitcoin equal to 1 BTC then you can make a loan of 1btc or loss if you will made loan then you need to pay the interest ( interest will depend upon the bid market St the time when you made loan ) .

Doing and knowing to do short trade or long trade have many requirements for you and its not easy .

First is your time and money on which you are able to trade with your funds in a specific time.

Margin Trading is not easy so i advise that in first you need to learn the basics .

Charts wont help. Even if you see one they are all just prediction.
You are risking your own money then try to read more about trusted altcoins if you are going to buy some of them.
Try NEM it has been going up and down. A good way to start is just buying a number of it. Dont try to be greedy thinking you will profit a lot if you buy a large number of it.
A good trader must get some experience first before going all out.

if you can afford to risk some of your money to learn from your own experience might be possible for you to understand what you are intended to understand, the more you expose yourself into something that you wanted to learn would be very helpful in the long run, just keep reading threads about your journey and success will follow.

I recommend doing the basic trading for a while before you get into margin trading. Start with one coin you want to trade and do some buys and sells with very small amounts. A lot of people like margin trading so if you are interested in that, try it after you have a good understanding of regular trading.

In what trading knowledge you have some idea right now?

Already know the meaning of long trade and short trade? If does then it's up to you on how will you execute it and you will just take those suggestions and forecast as reference to make your analyzations complete. Reading charts are for advanced and intermediate level. For now, you can study the basics while slowly learning other trading terms and all things related to this.

There are trading bots for this you know. ::)
Some specifically for the exchange you want to be shorting on.
There isn't any learning curve with using one of those.
Just look around the forum for you to know where to get them
Good luck to you. ;)

Well, if you don't have an experiece or you didn't know what margin is it. I suggest to you that don't try it if you didn't know what margin will do or caused to your money. As for now try to read and search about what margin means. And i think for now try only "Buy Low | Sell High"

There isn't a magic method where you learn everything that the most experienced traders know in 1 day.

That is just ridiculous.

If anyone promises you that, and offers you altcoin tips(calls, not like helpful tips) then they are probably scamming you.

But usually, when you see something overinflate and it seems like it's in a bubble, like DASH and Ethereum were, then you can decide for yourself whether it is a good idea to short it or not. And if something seems to be bottoming and moving sideways, that is generally a good idea to go long on margin.
