This error occurs only when there is a threat to our website or your IP is accessing our website too many times per minute. But i i do nosend any request to mtgox looks like it is mistake. During the spike in volume of trades when the value jumped to 260 and likewise when it dropped to 60, people were buying/selling like crazy and it overwhelmed the servers. There was also a rumor that the servers were hacked (rumors likely). Either way they suspended new user registration to update hardware/security in the meantime. Now i also got this error last night when trying to register... but then this morning i got an email from Mtgox confirming my registration lol? I can log in and am going through verification process.
