Title: 0.90 Offline Wallet
Post by: Colba17 on April 09, 2017, 09:20:49 PM
A few questions:

1.) If I'm using v. 0.90 as my offline wallet and don't want to upgrade, do I need to use an older version of Armory for my online wallet?

2.) If so, where can I download 0.90? I can't find it at https://btcarmory.com or https://www.bitcoinarmory.com/.

3.) Which is the official site  https://btcarmory.com or https://www.bitcoinarmory.com ? I find it very confusing that there are two sites where you can download wallets given the security risks involved.

Thanks in advance!

Just to expand on the above post:

I'm using the two wallet system offline/online system which I set up 3 years ago using 0.90 version of Armory. My online computer no longer works (accident) but I had no coins stored on it. I have a new computer and want to install a version of Armory that will work with my 0.90 offline version. I would prefer not to download new software into my offline computer for security reasons if possible. What's the best solution?

Thanks!

0.91 at best. You should upgrade, at least to get the security and bug fixes.

Not being hosted officially anymore. This is a ATI release, so you are looking at the right place.

ATI releases are hosted on bitcoinarmory, the community page built around my fork is on btcarmory. ATI last version is 0.93.3. They do link to my release page however.

The security of binary distribution is provided by the offline signature on packages, not where you get them from.
