Title: CLOUDBET SCAM
Post by: figuriela on April 10, 2017, 12:21:10 AM
Hello,

I do have reasonable suspicion that I have been scammed for 10BTC on this site. I opened account on 8.3.2017 and everything worked fine until the withdrawal on 1.4.2017. Since this day I am not able to access my account and I have there around 10BTC. I am contacting Mr. Kordolanyi in Budapest who is holder of their license in Montenegro and also government of Montenegro in next days if they will not return my balance.

On the first ticket I sent to Cloudbet they responded quite a fast when I consider what I read in here about their support and their response was. “There is NO PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT from their side” … and they asked to send other technical details. After I provided all technical details they sent me email that I have more than one account. So there was no problem with my account and after I told them what browser I am using I have multiple accounts? After I responded that I have only account they responded “we are investigating”. Actually, If they have the proof that I have multiple accounts what are they investigating now? And if they don't have they proof why they sent me response about multi accounting in the first place?  They just don’t want to pay out my balance. That is why.

Here I am posting all communication between me and cloudbet

Here is interesting one I found on Twitter today. Looks like other ppl are having same problem. If you are having the same issue and can't access your money let me know, with all documentation and possible proofs you have. Montenegro government is quite a small and Its not so hard to get ministry of finance on the line so if you are going through same problem of fraud drop me message here (PM or contact me on email figuriela@email.cz). I am sure the other websites which are working under Mr. Kordolanyi license will not be so happy if their business will go to illegal position because of challenged license.

The shills say everything is o.k., so there is no reason to be worried.

If they really have a license, you can sue them, but cloudbet support was not able to show it, so I think they have none!

Here they are stating that cloudbet.com is their licensed partner

https://valid.egm.online

If they don't have a gambling license they have bigger problem than mine 10BTC

No, they do not state that cloudbet.com is their licensed partner, please read:

Quote from: E-Gambling Montenegro
This instruction page describes the way E-Gambling Montenegro is used and incorporated in compliance with the applicable cooperation and design guidelines.
Please note that they speak about applicable cooperation and design guidelines, not one word about operator or licensor!

As well on the E-Gambling Montenegro seal it is stated "In cooperation with" and not "licensed by". Therefore, cloudbet's claim they would be operated by EGM is not applicable!

Why does E-Gambling Montenegro not state their license or authorization on their website? Some of EGM's cooperators claim that EGM would have the concession serial no. AA 001588, numeric no. 133-01/15 4A and 1ER

Is Mr. Kordolanyi in Budapest owner/operator of E-Gambling Montenegro?

Did you check if E-Gambling Montenegro is registered in Podgorica?

While I absolutely don't trust cloudbet anymore since the last few days, I would still like to hear their side. From all I have been reading on their thread they cleared any holds and no one had any issues.

If they don't reply, have a trusted member of this community look into it as well.

You do not have to state your license on your website.
Mr. Kodolanyi is CEO of E-Gambling Montenegro. He is living in Montenegro but he has some companies in Hungary also and Hungary is pretty close to me and I have there some contacts which will contact him pretty soon.

Today I received emails from another two ppl. Totally same happened to them. No problem from their side and rest you know... They combined to have more than 20BTC on account so summary is 30BTC so far. I will post screenshots here as they will send me. If you know more scammed ppl or you were scammed by yourself contact me here or figuriela@email.cz for more informations, screenshots and every proof you have will help.
Until today no response here in thread from cloudbet which confirms that they did not find nothing even if they wanted so much. They did not respond on my last email for more than a week. Trust me, they will pay my balance or this will be last few weeks of cloudbet site is running and if lawyers will figure out, they have no license and companies are not existing at all, Mr. Kodolanyi still exists :-) ...

You do not have to state your license on your website.
Please quote the applicable Montenegrin licensing laws which state that a master-licensor do not have to state their authorization by the government?

Good that you know who is CEO of E-Gambling Montenegro. The only problem I have is that E-Gambling Montenegro speaks only about a cooperation. Not sure if a cooperation will make them liable based on Montenegrin laws.

Same here but i withdraw all my funds there and find another sportsbook. We must be aware whether this accusation is true or wrong

It looks like only directbet and Nitrogensports are the only ones which do not have any scam accusation against them so far. I am switching my accounts from other gambling houses to these two clean gambling houses so far. I have heard only good things about these until now.

Contact the new owner of the domain and  ask him for helpbecause that could be a huge scam from your email provider

they did answer me now, but first after one of my friends (which played there alot) wrote to them.

and because i cannot get access to my email (because my mail provider sold the domain - and this is official at mail.com) - i cannot withdraw my 1.5BTC and cloudbet will freeze them.

I used to use cloudbet in the past but these threads seemingly always pop up. I've never had an issue with payment in cloudbet; however, the amount that you are dealing with in this scenario is much more than I ever invested. It's possible that cloudbet is holding onto larger amounts of Bitcoin rather than the smaller withdrawals.

i had a convo with one but he stopped answering...

then i talked to another guy that said i had never contacted them...

i sent proof logging into an email that proofs i have access to the lost email, and showed me clicking around in my old emails from them, but they dont really answer to that..

i think theres nothing to do, just stay away from cloudbet. i know this is a special case, but this proofs they want to take money

If no one else can prove that your account is his account, then your account is your account, simple.

But they will put your balance into their account and this confirms that no one else claims to be the owner of your account. Understood?

You can sue them in Montenegro, but the brain wash theory claims that there is nothing you can do.

Hello,

I got scammed but this cloudbet.com web site too.  Here is how it goes. I used that site from time to time and it was ok with deposit and withdrawing.

After year or so pause I logged in and deposit 0.01 BTC (worth around 45 E at that time) by my Mycelium wallet on mobile. I wanted to do some bet but

in last moment decide not to. I tried to do withdraw. First attempt was rejected, second attempt was rejected too. I wrote to support they said I need to

click on link which they send on my email and that verification by link timeout. I said ok and tried 3rd time and click on that link just to see that

withdraw is in 'Pending' state on their web site. I waited 3-4 days and nothing changed and nothing comes to my wallet. I wrote again and they

replied you did not click link. I said yes I did, they then sent some stupid email like why you deposit and then withdraw, why you use other address

and not the same from which you deposited ? I replied that I decide not to place bet and want my founds back then they claim your address must be

same as deposit address. I asked them why if withdraw fails they did not return my btc to account like they did for first 2 attempts. Instead of answer

they blocked my account so I can not login to it anymore.

THIS IS SCAM WEB SITE STAY AWAY FROM IT YOU WILL BE SCAMMED TOO.

I reported them to badbitcoin web site to list them, they said they do not list casino sites and told me try to fix issue with their support.

They told me you can write on bitcoin talk forum about it etc...

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!

>>> My founds are finally sent to my wallet after badbitcoin.org and maybe game protector intervention. I closed my account there.

It seems that there is a lot of issues with Cloudbet or at least a lot of complaints here at the forum. How are these issues playing out? I believe It would be very helpful if there is some updated how this ended? It seems that there are a couple of you that have issues with Cloudbet (https://casinobitcoins.io/review/cloudbet-casino/), however, I have personally not had any issues with their services which in turn does not mean that there aren't any. Would be nice to see if these issues have been solved or not and I think this would help a lot of new and existing players to be more cautious (If it is needed)

Isn't there a Cloudbet representative here on the forum? No comments?

Hi hejioei,

Thank you for reaching out. My name is Peter and I am the Community Manager at Cloudbet.

We were absent on this forum for a while which I do apologise for. I know players were having issues in the meantime, and for that I am really sorry.
I have not reached out individually to all the users in this thread due to the length of time that has passed, but I am happy to look into any and all queries if anything is still going on. I just didn't want to bring up an older thread as that's not usually good practice, AFAIK.

However, I have been responding to issues in our ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333552.0), our new one about the introduction of Bitcoin Cash (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3268489.0), and any private messages/additional threads that are created.

If you (or anyone) has any questions about Cloudbet, big or small, I am here to help.

Thanks
Peter @ Cloudbet
