Title: [ANN] XBIS - Bitissuer Tokens - Decentralized cryptocurrency-only board
Post by: achain on April 10, 2017, 02:15:00 PM
Welcome to Bitissuer, the first decentralized cryptocurrency-only board/exchange that utilizes the Open Assets protocol to issue its assets, a simple and powerful open source protocol built on top of the Bitcoin Blockchain, allowing transfer of assets via Bitcoin compatible wallets. You can utilize any Open Assets wallet you wish, or even design your own.

In short, Bitissuer allows you to buy, sell and transfer assets/cryptocurrencies pegged to real world currencies (fiat), utilizing the Bitcoin Blockchain.

Become a Bitissuer stakeholder by buying XBIS tokens now @ https://www.bitissuer.org/XBIS.html. The earlier you buy, the less you pay. Current price: 0.20400001 BTC

Learn more about the Open Assets protocol by visiting http://www.openassets.org.
To learn about "colored coins", read https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Colored_Coins.

Edit: Adding more info from the website:

What XBIS holders receive
XBIS holders receive proportional share of Bitissuer's profits. The profits are stored in the Dividends Address and are paid every 1000 blocks to the holders at exactly 1000 blocks before the paying block (block height minus 1000), i.e. all the XBIS token holders at block 982,000 will be paid dividends at block 983,000. The payment will only take place if balance of Dividends Address is 1 BTC or more.

How profits add up
Two ways:
  • Sale of XBIS tokens - All BTC received by Bitissuer from sales of XBIS are stored in the Reserve Address. When the balance of the Reserve Address is 1 BTC (or more) over 1.5x the equivalent amount of issued currency, the surplus is transferred to the Dividends Address;
  • Issuance fees - When the amount of issuance fees (not mining fees!) paid by users to Bitissuer is equivalent to 1 BTC or more, the total amount is transferred to the Dividends Address.

Why, how and when XBIS token price increases
  • WHY - The XBIS price increases for two reasons:
    To compensate earlier adopters. The sooner you buy XBIS, the less you pay, the more you gain;
    To create a monetary reserve.
  • HOW - The XBIS price is directly proportional to the number of XBIS issued, as per the following formula: ((issued_XBIS/100000)+0.00000001). As an example, when 100,000 XBIS tokens are issued, XBIS price will be 1.00000001 BTC.
  • WHEN - Every time XBIS tokens are issued and sold from Bitissuer, after transactions are confirmed on the Bitcoin Blockchain.

There are two ways you can utilize Bitissuer:
  • As an exchange user, by buying and selling cryptocurrencies pegged to real world currencies;
  • As an investor, by buying XBIS. Check XBIS Tokens page for further information.

Wallets
WARNING: When receiving assets from others than Bitissuer, always check the Asset ID of the Bitissuer asset from the respective Bitissuer asset's page, even if the Bitissuer image and ticker shown in the wallet match what you expect. All Bitissuer assets are verified and verifiable ONLY at https://www.bitissuer.org/.

Oh yeah I already feel the smell of bitcoin crash as Bitpissoir surpasses bitcoin marketcap, posing a treat to chinese farms as btc mining starts becoming unprofitable. I think that u posted this on the wrong forum, take ur pissoir coin to peegonewild sub. If I were near ur location I would heavily fart as a gesture of disrespect and mild irritation.

I added more information to the post.
It's indeed a distinct fully-fledged project, not just a coin/token.
Please feel free to ask any questions you'd like.

Sorry about that, more information was added.
Regarding XBIS price, it's calculated at protocol level by the following formula: ((issued_XBIS/100000)+0.00000001). Since 20,400 XBIS were already issued, price is at  0.20400001 BTC  per unit.  XBIS price increases in order to compensate earlier adopters, and all collected BTC is shared proportionally amongst holders.
Please feel free to also visit https://bitissuer.org and/or ask us any questions.

This does look like a robust project capable of causing tornado in these young and outrageously thin crypto markets. Waiting for xbis/bitcoin operating ATMs in switzerland, hoping we will pump harder than auroracoin. Wait polo markets are live!!! Oh fuck I cant see it, are u sure they added it? Im peeing in my pants and trying to set up a bunch of buy orders.

Still sight see in the project that is really serious, to build a large project, a lot of deception about altcoin in promoting their sites ..

Yes, we've been working on this project for about 18 months now. Already released the token (XBIS) for whoever wants to be part of it, and also the first asset/currency pegged to the US Dollar (XUSD).

This does look like a robust project capable of causing tornado in these young and outrageously thin crypto markets. Waiting for xbis/bitcoin operating ATMs...
Well, yes, it is a robust open source project indeed.
Regarding ATMs, due to Bitissuer use of Open Assets on top of the Bitcoin blockchain, an ATM could be easily adapted or adjusted to pay Bitissuer assets, not XBIS that is not redeemable, but redeemable assets as XUSD (US dollars, https://www.bitissuer.org/coinsx.html). And the beauty of it is that it is open source: anyone can do it.

another way of getting some bitcoins from someone's pocket huh? then what will be the guarantee that this project is not a SCAM? Can you guarantee that our money will get the real value of something we pay for?

If you buy XBIS we can guarantee you will receive your proportional part of the dividends, nothing else. Bitissuer won't buy back your XBIS, and we cannot guarantee it will be listed on exchanges (we won't push it for listing). It is just an open opportunity for the community so anyone can be a "shareholder".
If you don't want to buy XBIS and be a token holder, that's okay, you can also use our services. For that, I'd quote Ernest Hemingway:
Quote
“The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.”
We have XUSD available for purchasing and selling (we sell it and also buy it back) at https://www.bitissuer.org/coinsx.html. XUSD is a crypto pegged to the US Dollar. You can try our services with amounts as low as 0.02 BTC that you can increase as you build confidence. Hope this clarifies things.

We are not familiar with the waves project but yes, several assets on the same bitcoin blockchain, automatically exchanging BTC for that asset and vice-versa. Here you can find the protocol we utilize: https://github.com/OpenAssets/open-assets-protocol.
The project was designed in a way that it doesn't need the website (bitissuer.org) to work, as long as you know the asset buy and sell addresses. It just needs the bitcoin blockchain. Even if the website is down for any reason, you can send BTC to 1XUSD1Sk7dwX7HuttG7iQTReaPMGjYxVR in order to buy XUSD, or send XUSD to anPgaa6gkHWTfDeAjGSFqdt21wYayHgkaw2 in order to redeem it, receiving BTC in your wallet.

it's ridiculous on this project . There is no detailed information about this token but Dev are ready to sell it with price 0.2btc so Dev wants only money and has already a BTC address for receiving money. it's very easy to make money online, isn't it?

Thanks for your interest. We agree with you, it's difficult to explain the whole project in a post, as it is very distinct from others, and as we already have a complete system working, with block explorers, wallets, APIs, etc.

We are not really newbies, the reason is that, as Bitissuer is open to anyone and we don't require any AML/KYC, we've created this new bitcointalk account in order to use it as an anonymous group account. However, you can ask us any advanced BTC questions you'd like.
We also invite you to try Bitissuer's services, you can buy from (and sell to) Bitissuer any redeemable asset available at https://www.bitissuer.org/assets.html using amounts as low as 0.02 BTC.
Best,
Bitissuer Team

it still confused me, it looks like an exchange or trading ssite for some coins and currency but why are you selling something and with minimum amount of 0.02 BTC, why there are minimum if you are an exchange site?

Thank you for your question and for allowing us to clarify.
You can utilize our services to buy assets from us which are pegged to real World currencies, that you can transfer freely to other people and/or redeem them when desired, receiving the respective amount in BTC. We are not a regular private exchange: our services use the Bitcoin Blockchain, so they are open source and transparent. You keep your private keys, we don't host wallets (https://www.bitissuer.org/wallets.html).
Since Bitissuer uses Bitcoin itself, we've limited the minimum transaction amount to 0.02 BTC in order to not bloat the blockchain with small test amounts that wouldn't cover necessary and usual network fees. However, in favor of making it easier for people to try our services, we will be decreasing the minimum purchase amount to 0.01 BTC soon.

-------------------------
PS, in time: The ICO XBIS announced here is another class of asset; it is a not-redeemable (one-way) "share" of Bitissuer for whoever wants to be a Bitissuer investor/owner and receive proportional dividends from transactions. NOTE that it is not required to purchase XBIS to be able to buy or sell redeemable assets. Anyone can buy and sell redeemable (two-way) assets to/from Bitissuer, just by having a compatible wallet.

It looks an exchange platform.
