Many of the Core devs have a Bitcoin Developer badge. Others who are considered experts such as Peter Todd have a Bitcoin Expert badge.
These badges only appear in the Dev and Tech section because that's where knowing the people who know the technical details matters. Title: Re: Badges still showing?
