For example, equihash consumes lower power than ethash. How to tell multipoolminer to do equihash instead? What does it mean multipoolminer earns 13% more than conventional mining? 2. Also should we donate to multipoolminer? I don't mind. I just want to know what feature will I miss if I don't. 3. Is Sia coin always the best for claymore as the second coin for dual mining? 4. Multipool miner says I would make .00253 BTC. I wonder where does it get the number. It says if I use Ethash/Sia I would make .0024 BTC. Again, where is that number come from? However I've determined that for me the extra wear and tear and heat on the cards and extra electricity and extra 1% fee doesn't justify it. By my calculations whatever extra I earned I was losing to increased electric cost. So why stress your cards just to break even?

a multi pool will take a particular crypto currency – which lets say has a total mining power of 10GH at present. they will then calculate their hash power, which lets say is 90GH, so they have a 90% probability of mining the block if they jump the hashrate of the crypto currency to 100GH. they then calculate that particular crypto currencies reward per block and conversion rate to their base currency they are operating from. With mining, it is important to understand the different types of blocks that come with it because of the effect it can have on your expected income. |
