Title: BTC Casino site with 9 games (Using Moneypot API)
Post by: VegasCasinoBits on April 11, 2017, 05:24:59 PM
Hello,

We are selling our Casino site vegascasinobits.com. The site uses Moneypot.com as backend so there is no need to personally bankroll the site.
The site has 9 custom made games (Slot Machine, Duck Shooting, Mega Payout, Keno, Mine Sweeper, High/Low, Video Poker, Dice, and Coin Flip) and was recently optimised for faster betting (dice autoplay now runs at around 300 bets per minute). There is also an affiliate system, chat, and support for multiple languages (partially translated to Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian).

Since its launch in early 2016 the site has processed more than 1,370,000 bets for over 382 btc total.  See https://www.vegascasinobits.com/statistics for more detailed statistics.

Buyer will get the website, domain, moneypot app, and various accounts for the project (bitcointalk, hosting, proton email, twitter). The site is currently hosted at bithost.io for roughly $27 per month. The account on bithost.io is preloaded with enough money for the site to run for almost 2 months without being topped up again.
The site is written in a mix of PHP/Laravel (website) and Python/Falcon (bet backend) so it should be fairly easy to find developers with the skills to update/maintain the site.

The site is being sold for a fixed price of 0.6 BTC. Let me know if you have any questions.

Pretty good looking site you have here. How much in Bitcoin have you made already so far?

This is currently the highest bid. The next bid must be at least 0.706 BTC.

I'm interested. Is the site currently licensed and operating legally?

I see several of these gaming sites get taken down every year, unfortunately.

Thanks

In the jurisdiction that the site is operated from, there are no laws requiring bitcoin casinos to be licensed and online casinos are legal. Online casinos which deal in the country's currency must be licensed, but our site never uses fiat at any point in its transactions.

Can you recall the names of these casinos that have been taken down? As far as I know, cases where bitcoin casinos get shut down are rare.

Seals with Clubs is the main one I can recall. It's too bad because it was a fantastic site.

I can't recall if it was Federal or just the Nevada Gaming Commission (whatever they're called.)

My state has Casinos, so there is at least hope that if it were to need licensing here, I could obtain it.

That being said I think a lawyer is going to be the best for me to talk to.

what about bid offer 0.65btc? you did not sell your website?
- Whether something special needs to be added to the script? any update or something where is need to work on code.
- What is the Hosting reqirements for normal site functionality?
- Do you make any marketing campaign from 2016 for this casino, and from where is come your new users?

you start selling this casino site 11.april, can you tell me stats of wagered in this last 3 months?

now i am on vacation, i have very poor hotel's internet and i can't check all site functions. If you think about lowest price you can contact me

About which jurisdictions are you talking?
Do you want to say that if someone operate from Europe, can rent server in some place where law let provide service like this and it is enough to be safe?
If you can confirm that, probably you have a client.

I couldn't get in contact with the bidder. I messaged them and let them know that I'm putting the site up for sale again a few weeks ago. They didn't respond, so they've lost their bid.
- The site is fully-functional. Nothing needs to be added to the code to make it work.
- The site currently uses a server provided by bithost.io. The plan currently selected provides a server with 2GB of RAM and a 40GB Hard Disk. This seems to be more than enough and you could downgrade to a cheaper plan in the future. I just like to be safe in case the site gets a sudden spike in traffic.
- I've never marketed the site beyond bitcointalk.org. I started a Twitter for the site, but I don't currently use it.

I don't have statistics for the last 3 months (Moneypot only provides a cumulative total), but since I edited the first most in this thread 10 days ago, an additional 2 BTC have been wagered on the site. Contact me if you have any more questions or want to make an offer. The site is still going for 0.6 BTC.

I'd rather not say where I'm living. The server currently operates from a place where online bitcoin casinos aren't legislated. So, yes. The scenario you described is legal.

hi

any special reason why you are selling the app? I see you are sole owner now. did you buy it from your partners?

in April when you started to sell the BTC was about 1200 usd and you asked 0.6 BTC actually same price as today with the difference that bTC is about 4300 usd

if we buy it but we dont use it with Monypot API will you still be allowed to use it there or anywhere else?

cheers
