Title: Kraken opens Dash (DASH) trading
Post by: mynhpark on April 13, 2017, 03:15:33 AM
Kraken is pleased to announce support for Dash (DASH). Dash is the fourth most valuable digital asset by market cap and recently experienced a huge surge in price (6x gain) and trading volume (10x gain).

Dash has one of the fastest growing peer-to-peer networks and supports both “private” and “instant” payments. The open source Dash protocol is self-funded and self-governed, meaning that the Dash network funds its own development and anyone can present their idea to the network.

Dash coin supply is limited to 22 million, with the current available supply at the time of writing around 7.22 million.

Would you trade DASH in Kraken exchange?

Yes. I may, I traded Iconomi in Kraken exchange before, but this time I can buy my favorite coin Dash, which makes me rich, I love Dash trading.

Bitfinex openned it earlier already when DASH reached up to $110 where they also allow DASH margin trading.
I did tried it and send about 15 DASH just to check whether someone will actually be interested but none took my offer. I guess most of the traders in that exchange has no trust to this currency.  Kraken may be different. Good luck to them.

How long did you leave it on trade? Perhaps not very surprising that you didn't find immediate takers when it surged so high (psychological to see that point above $100). The problem with all the heat on these alts, even I changed my mind at the last minute when thinking to buy a bit. Afraid the wave is gone before my surf hits water.

I was wondering why DASH went up so suddenly in the minst of a price correction. Apparently the more exchanges you get into, the higher your price goes up.

I think everyone should be careful for the next week or so tough, the recent price surge and top of that this news and all the price fluctuations, it may not go up that much anymore for the short term, it may hit with a price correction before stabilizing again.

Two weeks.
Wasn't too late to buy DASH, I had it when it first reach $16 though. The currency isn't so bad and has good community support even with all the FUD around they've managed to make things their way. DASH price is more than $50 so its definite a coin with value. A team of good developer can't make it that far without innovation, DASH is one alt they can rely on whenever btc falls.

Love it or hate it, Dash is gaining popularity and doesn't look to be going away any time soon.
Really good news for the developers and all the coins they insta-mined, I guess lol.

Love to trade it still on Bitfinex. Just look how it spikes all of a sudden after a dip, almost works like how bitcoin does. If it dip about -6%, I would expect it to rise about %8. Its a matter of just knowing when to get in and get out. A long term trader can profit still if he isn't into getting the troubles of buying and selling.

Here's a chart https://trade.kraken.com/kraken/dashbtc

Would you trade DASH in Kraken exchange?

Yes, because you can trade your dash directly for euros or dollars on kraken.

It means you don't have to mess around trading on an alt exchange, and then transfering your bitcoin to kraken (or coinbase or wherever) in order to sell for fiat.
