British newspaper the Daily Mail has agreed to pay damages and costs the US first lady Melania trump for an article about her modeling career, where it was reported that she once worked for an escort service. The article was published during the election campaign of the President of the United States, after the publication refused his material. Melania trump filed a lawsuit against the newspaper in London's High court in February this year and assessed the damage to her article, $ 150 million.
However, according to Reuters, which cites an anonymous source, it is only about $ 3 million.

Daily may has done something very ugly in my opinion, they have said that she was basically a escort lady, just for drama and money from sales.
But luckily, that has turn out wrong for them- they had payed the money for that very stupid mistake.

How foolish is that newspaper company for trying to publish a news that is related to the running candidate for presidency since it entails very high risk the moment the president will win the election. But probably the guts of that company was coming from someone outside the company who is willing to pay more than 3 million dollars just to destroy trump and his wife so they can win the election.

The newspaper simply tried to destroy Trump so that he did not win elections. It's politics and there's a lot of dirt here, journalists are specifically looking for something dirty to blacken public figures.

And I think that for the money that she wants to sue the newspaper to find someone who can admit that she accompanied him as an escort.

Public media must be responsible and shouldn't publish rumors and unverified facts.
Such things can damage reputation of person, and it's not ok.
Journalists always looking for new news and sensations, which will increase viewership and popularity, but it shouldn't go at the expense of truth and integrity.
From this viewpoint, this news will be warning signal to others.
We need more objectivity in the media coverage.

Melanie is an intelligent and cowish girl, and journalists just tried to slander her and lower Trump's rating. All this information is based only on rumors and speculation, just envy the success of such a chic lady.

I don't think that we can call Daily Mail (or in other words Daily Fail) as serious press. It's just a cheap tabloid. They are writing so much bulshit about celebrities from anonymous sources. I'm sure that that's not the first case when one of these tabloids have to pay compensation after spreading fake news.

Daily Mail is doing some "gotcha journalism" for a really long time, which is really stupid for their public relations.
Unfortunately, it was not possible for Melania Trump to make them bankrupt just because fake news, but im really glad that at least, she took some money from them.

No, English is not my native language and I never said that I have perfect skills of that language.
But c'mon, she lives in USA for 16 years or more and she still can't talk in English fluently. I think it's not normal thing.

To live in a country for a long time and not know the language of this country I believe that this is not only a manifestation of foolishness and disrespect to the country. I have a friend. He also lived for 18 years in America and never learned English. He is not a stupid man, but just doesn't want to learn the language.

Yes' if that's the only language you're learning and using. She knows French German and Italian on a communicative level and of course Slovenian. Along with English it makes her able to speak in 5 languages, that's far more than a typical educated person. I for instance know only 3, so I would never do a mistake of calling her stupid, just because she's not fluent in English.

She KNOWS the language on a communicative level. That's all she needed, because she never had to actually look for a job that required perfect English.

So put it simply, Melania knows 5 times the number of languages when compared to Michelle. BTW... I have watched her speaking in perfect English during various TV interviews. I would consider her a fully fluent speaker of that language.

I don't know why all people have claims to it. I like it very much. In America, from the time Jacqueline Kennedy was first lady at this level. Look at her is a pleasure. It's pretty horrid that they'd make such a story with little to no evidence on her work before Trump. They should be paying money out just like Gawker wen't under due to the showing of that sex tape which they refused to not take down.
