Title: Mining Farm Buildout Question
Post by: gwestcot on April 13, 2017, 03:53:07 PM
I am currently running about 5 ethereum rigs at my home but I am thinking about getting a warehouse and doing a massive buildout. I have most of the design issues resolved excluding the power supply. I have been trying to find power strips with a high amp rating but have yet to find any higher than 30 amps which would only maybe be sufficient for 3 rigs. My rigs tend to run at around 900 watts per 6 gpu's. does anyone know of any solutions? I plan on a buildout of 50 rigs to start.

Ya but I don't think anything I have seen has the amp raring that I need. If I go with a prebuilt rackmountable option then it will pull 11600 watts so on 120V that is almost 100 amps. I can fit 10 units in one server rack or I could go with the 50 or so rigs that I will build myself but I still seem to have power issues. Can you point me in the right direction?

I guess 240V is key here...
