Russia will not participate in Eurovision-2017 in Kiev.The EBU notes that Russia has offered two alternatives: broadcast the performance of a selected contestant Yulia Samoilova from Moscow or choose the other participant. Both proposals in the Russian Federation was not accepted.

The Russians made the right decision. They should boycott  the future editions as well. The Eurovision is no longer a song contest. It has become a politicized mini-war. The winner is chosen based on the sexual orientation (like Conchita Wurst), or politics (Jamala.etc).

I think that Eurovision can be canceled altogether, because it's more like a political vote, and not a real struggle of good performers.

LOL! Russians always react when something does not go according to their plan. Policy in this competition has made it Russian. We remember the scandal with the text of the Georgian songs, songs Danilko. You always think that are bad for you. Look at yourself first. I do not like Russian. I will still be they to participate in the competition or not. I do not watch this competition. It seems to me that from the time of ABBA there were no good musicians. The fact that this competition is political, I agree with the Russian.
