What is this about?
There is a big market research company analyzing the usage of smartphones and tablets.
For this purpose they developed a data collecting software you can install to your device.
Once installed it runs in the background and collects anonymized data which will be used for research.

For installing this application you will earn 5$. Payout will be as soon as the registration gets validated by the research company (they check for fake data and fake installations). You have to use the software for at least some days!

In addition to the 5$ reward, you will earn points that you can convert to amazon gift cards on the companies website. Just like several other survey sites do.

Lol, it takes a few days to receive the $5 freaking bucks and a life time of data usage from the so called data collecting app which runs in the back ground, but what kind of data? I wouldn't install such application on a phone if I have credit card wallet/ bitcoin wallet apps anyways.

Honestly,not worth $5 to give out your personal information which can be used for further data analysis.I still don't understand how can the data be  anonymized when it's already in the hands of the third party you don't trust.

Then this app will be scanned as a virus if this will collect data from smartphones? I will ask questions if where do the $5 came from? Does it will came from your own wallet? Or from the company who made this app?

I've encountered a several similar apps before that pays even upto 10$ and does not require any personal details or documents. It's just plain surveys about some personal questions that needs to be verified for some time.

Can you please inform who pays the money, you personally or the company? And what is the minimum period we have to use the app to receive payment? Does this app require root access?

 Are you sure that this will  be the app, where's your proof that they pay you already.

You should provide the name or the link of the app so there is no more asking about it. And you should clarify where the 5 dollars came from that will be sent to us, from your own wallet or from the app itself? I'll wait for positive reviews before doing this.

So i will give you some further information to ensure this is not a scam.
The market research company i stated is known as Nielsen, a reliable company operating in over 100 countries with ~ 44.000 employees worldwide.

They have several programs of research like analyzing what people watch in TV, what they buy or how they use their computers. Analyzing cellphone and tablet usage is a newer task.
People participating in these programs get rewards in form of points they can convert to several awards like amazon gift cards. Tens of thousands of people are doing this already (trading usage data for points and awards) and are more (or less?) happy with their awards. Example: for installing you get 600 points, for every day of letting the software run you get extra points. For ~900 points you get a (tiny) amazon gift card...
Everybody can join this program on the companies website if they know about it.
An that's the point. I promote the app. For every new user i send, i get payed from them. If you use my promotional link, i can give you a share. To clarify: Nielsen will give you points (for gift cards) only. They don't pay out money. But if you use my promotional link, you will get some from me in addition.
To prevent fraud, validation takes some time because the company is only interested in real users who let the software run. If you install and deinstall a minute after, you are useless for them. So why should they pay? I think this should be understandable.

Some other points i want to clarify:

• This program has (as far as i know) nothing to do with Mobilexpression stated by cracxme
• Validation does not need any personal documents.
• The 5$ will come from my wallet

You must post exact time or days how long one has to keep the software running to get paid.
"After some days" may be after months and we can not keep waiting for $5 endlessly.

that's right even just an estimated time frame to keep the apps inside our device would be better for us to know when to receive the said
payments, its really hard to convince since it will be inside our device and it will run from the background we can't tell what will be the

Besides, i just learned that validation will only be successfull for users in GSA (german speaking area).

Yeah there are still a lot of questions. We need to know the exact or maybe an estimated number of days to keep the app installed in our device and how will we know the right time to get paid. It's hard for us to trust a new app unless it is on the official store like appstore so we can view the reviews.
