Chinese airline Air China is the only foreign carrier that flew to North Korea, canceled all flights. Thus, to date, the only airline that will carry out air transportation to North Korea will remain their airline Air Koryo. The sky tipped. The air smells of war.

Well it does and it will be logical for any airlines of any country to cancel flights to nokor at this time. Kim had this coming for quite a long time now and it looks like trump is likely to put him out. And i think nokor stands alone in this as kim constantly provokes other nations with all those missile launches.

And to what countries do Air Koryo fly to? This certainly make North Korea really isolated. I mean, it's not like people are raring to go there but this should be sobering for any regime. I was about to say this would also make it harder for people there to leave and then I realized they're not allowed out anyway.

I wonder how Kim will see this though. Just looking at the guy though, he probably won't see the writing on the wall even if the hand point it out to him.


I don't see China letting their friend down though. They'd probably do something to de-escalate the situation. Failing that, they'd probably opt to force regime change before things get even uglier, before America try to invade. A pro-America regime in NoKor is that last thing China would want. Hopefully it wouldn't be as ugly as Afghanistan.

Nothing is going to happen. Trump doesn't have the balls to attack North Korea. The DPRK is not a weak nation like Syria. They can retaliate, and they will retaliate pretty hard. I don't think that Trump want to trigger a major world war, and many millions of deaths.

NK is a nation continually preparing for war, when there are no enemies of them in the entire world, they make enemies of necessity. They are an quite an oddity, really.

They may find some unfortunate circumstance happening to them, like a sub going down. Old Russian subs, you know they are not reliable. Sad but true. I hope the sailors can get out and maybe be rescued.

I am surprised to hear that they were even flying to North Korea before this cancellation. I always thought North Korea as a closed box where no-one can get in or out.  :P Anyway the decision is right, you don't wanna make trips to the possible enemy country. Imagine what would happen if a war comes out of nowhere while the Chinese tourists are in Korea. Instant free captives for N. Korea.

Why are you so sure? The Americans will destroy the regime of Kim Jong-UN and give North Korea to merge with South. I doubt that in the normal direction, the Koreans want to live like their neighbors. Why are you not considering this? It also will not capture their territories, thus the war will not.

One of my colleges been there two years ago and apart from the tons of kimchi (what he found too spicy) he enjoyed his trip. If you respect the local law and not breaking the rules, everything will be all right.

This was something that has been waiting to happen to North Korea for a long time, the regulations that this country need to fully get the memo that they're going to need to stop making these threats the powers of the world and just stay in their place.

If the DPRK goes to war, then not many people will be left alive in both the Koreas. The Americans don't bother, because they know that the North Korean missiles don't have the range to target mainland US.

Do not create a panic. Air China often canceled flights because of the number of passengers and then resumed them. Now the airline temporarily canceled part of the flights because of the demand for tickets, but then will resume them.

Maybe it is something temporary, and China will continue transporting afterward. Or maybe they don't want to have any contact at the moment with North Korea at the moment, because oh heathen relations with other nations. Or maybe you are right and there is something in the air, and it could smell like war.

Can certainly you're right. It seems to me that Kim Jong-UN issued an ultimatum and was given time to turn its nuclear program. Rocket Koreans would intentionally destroy in order to win time. It seems to me that China supports American efforts to disarm North Korea.

Just relax. It is not going to happen. The American defense technology is progressing at a much better rate when compared to that of North Korea. By the time the DPRK develops missiles which can target mainland US, the Americans will be able to shot them down from the satellites.
