By having your soul, what happens next?
I can sell it to a demon, make you a banshee or what?

For those who sell a soul lightly, remember the lesson of Bart selling his soul to Milhouse.

The FDA values a life at 7.9 million USD. [src] (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/17/business/economy/17regulation.html?_r=1)
A soul weighs 21 grams, according to this guy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duncan_MacDougall_(doctor)).

I weigh about 50 kilograms, approx. 50000 grams.
(7900000/50000)*21 = 3318$ or BTC21 at current rates.

Therefor, you can buy my soul for BTC21.

First come, first serve. I can probably split my soul in 2, in case of high demand.

The US Army values life at about $2,500 per accidental killing.

(2500/50000)*21 = 1.05$ or BTC0.0068

But don't sell your soul. I heard that if you sell your soul you turn ginger.

What method would you prefer?
The Shaman method, and lure it out?
Or one of the newer, more technical methods for a more complete extraction?

If you use the Shaman method, you'll have less of a chance of it fragmenting and having to put it back together. Let me tell you, this is quite a process.

Either way, it's been a while since I've seen this performed and I would like to be present as well.

Are you seriously telling me that it's actually possible to sell your soul? I'm curious to learn more about how it's possible? Why would you (OP) want to sell your soul? I was looking to sell some things on here then I stumbled across your thread.Very interesting. :)

The OP is probably selling the private key for her/his soul.

OP doesn't believe in fairy tails.  This reminds me of atheists selling pet care services for when the good Christians get raptured.  Why not capitalize on the foolishness of others?

It's all about the perception of the soul! You can buy mine though. I can sign a contract that makes you the legal owner of my soul; if you're in some strange cult this might come in handy... or you might just want an extra soul. For me, being able to say I sold my soul for Bitcoins would be pretty cool.

I don't think it's painful. But you do understand, your soul also includes your free will, at least for a short period of time. Or is that not part of the deal? The intention is to get your soul, turn you into a god or a goddess, and perform a public ritual in front of many people. This is usually a private ceremony, with only members of the group present. The notion of hieros gamos does not presuppose actual performance in ritual, but is also used in purely symbolic or mythological context, notably in alchemy and hence in Jungian psychology.

Johnny Blaze sold his soul, but he got super biker powers. You're just going to get money, a virtual one at that (albeit, decentralized and not connected to any government.)

I think the OP stumbled upon something here. Soon, everybody will be wanting to sell their souls for bitcoins, hence a stock exchange needs to built, for others may just want to trade souls.

Seriously, think about this for a sec, for I'm sure some marketing genius will come along and bring it to fruition.

I just want the body and soul. (The soul is permanent, the body is temporary.) I will have to perform an inspection, to see if the soul is actually worth buying.

Worthless souls are ... worthless. Virgin souls are ... priceless. We're hoping for some where in between. 21 bitcoins is a good deal for a slightly used soul.

Thus the inspection. If I don't think the soul is worth it, I won't buy it. Anyone else can have it then. Unless the owner wishes to negotiate. Also, written contracts must be signed in blood; that's not painful, just an ant-bite or like that. You've had blood typing done before right? Or taken some shots?

Human Soul Registration Form

I, ____________________ (please print), grant ownership of my immortal soul to the owner of this document.

This form indicates that I, the undersigned, grant ownership of my soul, as defined as the immaterial or eternal part of a living being, commonly held to be separable in existence from the body-the metaphysical part as distinct from the physical part, to the owner of this physical document. He/she who holds this physical document, with the original signatures, is hereby granted ownership of the undersigned's soul.

Should this document be destroyed or modified by tearing, burning, cutting, shredding, or other method, to a point where 1/3 or greater amount of printed text, or 1/5 of signatures is modified, the contract becomes void and the soul of the original owner of the soul returns to its physical body.

Should the original owner of the soul die, the soul may (though not necessarily) be claimed by any supernatural or metaphysical entity(ies), including but not limited deities, spirits, or other sentient beings, if they are to process and/or claim ownership of such souls. If no entity(ies) claim the soul, the soul will remain in ownership of the owner of this document.

I hereby grant that my soul now belongs to the respective owner of this document and acknowledge this supernatural/metaphysical transfer of property by signing below.
