First of all in order for mining to be profitable you need electricity for running and cooling the servers. Last year the temperature had reach 48°C here. There is also a chance that they find some solution as oil demand is declining. Till now none of the famous newspaper here have reported anything like this so it isn't official yet.

Ethereum certainly can hold its own if it comes to a bigger audience, certainly better than ripple. Lets see what happens. |
